I heard on the radio today (I cant remember who ) will be coming out with a double CD, I just wish Celine would do something like that , Its not that hard for her team to do

It’s a short bridge, but a bridge nonetheless.

 

And if you come to think of it, it might seem a "short" bridge... But that has actually been the typical "proper" bridges of most of Celine songs i.e. just around four to five lines

 

Just look at the bridges of:

IYAMT - 4 lines

WDMHBN - 4 lines

TPOL - 4 lines

TC - 3 or 4 lines

I'm ok with a lot of these songs being 3-ish minutes or so. That's about average these days and it means we get so many more songs on the album so I'm good with it. However, the two that are only 2.5-ish mins long, I'm afraid I won't like, or it will feel like they're missing something. On that note, they could be transition songs. Remember when albums, way back when, would have a song or two that were more transitional, etc. Not really meant to be actual songs, but something just to add to the album to help it flow, etc. Maybe that's what these are??

 

Sometimes it is better to have a shorten length especially for uptempo songs. Otherwise they may tend to be a bit repetitive.

the only criticism about the new songs i have is how repetitive they are, but still i love them all. can't complain really. 16 more new songs to come, im so ready for celine nirvana hahaha

So far, none of the songs have had a proper bridge. It's all about going straight from the second chorus into the third one. Basically.

 

FOMO - No bridge.

Lying Down - No bridge.

Courage - No bridge, but it's actually fine in this song.

Imperfections - No bridge.

 

All the songs, except Courage, have this cheap buildup instead of a bridge. It's almost like it's missing a layer. I don't like this trend. I just hope there won't be any songs without a third chorus at all, but the two short songs are somewhat questionable, lol.

 

(false for FOMO anyway).

 

I'm really sad that Lying down doesn't have a bridge.... I LOVE bridges. It's the first time that I love a song without a bridge....

There's no reason to panic about the lengths of the songs on the new album. I love an epic, long song.

But I also think there are many brilliant short songs.

One of my favorite Carpenters songs is incredibly short:

November 24 is the American Music Awards, will Celine attend, I looked in the concert schedule and on this date she has no scheduled shows.

If and when she does promo on US television for the album it’ll certainly be interesting to see if she finally performs “Imperfections” given Sony are clearly pushing that as the single in the states.

Another question...

How do you imagine (or suppose) that you will see the back cover of both editions of the album?

I imagine a continuation of the cover, with the sand floor and in the middle the circle of fire (as in the disc and in the visuals of Courage live) and the names of the songs within or around the circle

It's gonna be only the firewood without Celine, I'm pretty sure.

I think that would be like LMBTL was, a celine photo in the fire too, but maybe in another view.

Now, I'm wondering how many more bonus tracks we'll have in the japanese edition of the album? The "deluxe" edition it's around 70', so, we have free space for 3 songs of 3 minutes or 2 songs of 4 minutes (imagine if PMLALS it's on the japanese edition, around 4 minutes? )

I looked on some Japanese websites like amazon japan and it didn’t look like there was any extra tracks featured on any special edition cd. But I could be wrong

Probably we have this new cover in the deluxe edition or a box and into the box the cd with the normal cover but the 20 songs... (MJ's Immortal was like this)

It's probably. And think in the day that Celine it's retired and Sony releases albums/compilations with all these unreleased stuff...

Adele releasing a single and album is not a surprise anymore as she is doing US talk shows this week. So she must have something to sell...

 

And albums don't stay in the Top 5 very long in the US. One or two weeks maximum - with a few exceptions. But in November, exceptions are even more rare.
