I has the "hope" (i guess) that "Falling In Love Again" would be "Play Me Like A Love Song", since the fact of the 3.51 min. duration (almost 4 minutes)...

I have no clue and I’m just guessing here haha but by the lyrics idk those 2 lines don’t fit tighter per say. Just my opinion - But like I said I have no clue. Could be. Check out the PMLALS thread. I’m doing some serious sleuthing lol haha.

How do you imagine (or suppose) that you will see the back cover of both editions of the album?

I imagine a continuation of the cover, with the sand floor and in the middle the circle of fire (as in the disc and in the visuals of Courage live) and the names of the songs within or around the circle

Ashes is only about 3:11

 

Exactly, and I’ve always thought it was missing something, oh I don’t know, like a climax maybe 😂 TBH it finishes at about 3 min, the other 11 seconds or so are just fade out.

 

It never really did much for me because it’s way too short so I worry I’m gonna be disappointed now in the new album but I so hope not 🤞🏻

I'm ok with a lot of these songs being 3-ish minutes or so. That's about average these days and it means we get so many more songs on the album so I'm good with it. However, the two that are only 2.5-ish mins long, I'm afraid I won't like, or it will feel like they're missing something. On that note, they could be transition songs. Remember when albums, way back when, would have a song or two that were more transitional, etc. Not really meant to be actual songs, but something just to add to the album to help it flow, etc. Maybe that's what these are?? Same here , i'm afraid I will have some kind of depression after the release since the excitment and anticipation takes over everything in my life right now.. the only time I get that feeling is before the release of a Celine album and during the Olympics I always go crazy 🤪😃

In the past, I was hoping to hear some duets with singers like Gaga or Sia (a real duet, bcs in my point of you, Lying Down it is not a duet, it s a song with backing vocals by Sia;please, don t get me wrong with this one), but now I m so happy that is just Celine, not Respect by Celine or You re the voice, etc.I m happy and anxious

So far, none of the songs have had a proper bridge. It's all about going straight from the second chorus into the third one. Basically.

 

FOMO - No bridge.

Lying Down - No bridge.

Courage - No bridge, but it's actually fine in this song.

Imperfections - No bridge.

 

All the songs, except Courage, have this cheap buildup instead of a bridge. It's almost like it's missing a layer. I don't like this trend. I just hope there won't be any songs without a third chorus at all, but the two short songs are somewhat questionable, lol.
