I can imagine that if Celine it's proud of her album, we can expect just an exceptional album. In other words, if you take 6 years between albums and you must be proud just of the last one... Something is wrong... I guess...

If it was any of them i would love a better produced, english version of Les Yeux Au Ciel

In my opinion, these are “the required songs” for an Ango-based tour:

 

1) “My Heart Will Go On”

2) “The Power Of Love”

3) “Because You Loved Me”

4) “It’s All Coming Back To Me Now”

5) “Beauty And The Beast”

6) “That’s The Way It Is”

7) “A New Day Has Come (Radio Remix)”

8) “I’m Alive”

9) “I Drove All Night”

10) “Ashes”

11) “All By Myself”

 

That leaves room for about 5-6 new songs from the upcoming album, 1 cover, 3-5 other hits (i.e. “To Love You More,” “Pour que tu m’aimes encore,” “Misled,” “Taking Chances,” “If You Asked Me To,” and “Nothing Broken But My Heart”), and 2 deep album cuts/fan favorites (i.e. “Somebody Loves Somebody,” “Ten Days,” “Sorry For Love,” “Right In Front Of You,” “Then You Look At Me” and “Reveal”).

 

Now, if she truly wanted to take risks, she could throw in more French material than only one lonely song. To do this, get rid of all covers she hasn’t made her own a la “The Power Of Love,” and increase the setlist to a constant 28 songs. Highly unlikely, though.

 

That’s my two cents.

I really hate when they advise her to pick only 12 songs for new album. Celine did you forget you used to make 16 track albums for us as per norm? Plus most memorable albums are always the ones that go against this "law"

Guys chill.... there's still so much time between now and November and I doubt we'll "just" get 12 songs.

Also, in one of the interviews she says she's still recording, so ANYTHING can still happen!

I suppose they will release 2 (or 3?) singles before the album:

- a summery uptempo around the BBMA

- a more classic Celine ballad just after summer.

To reflect the 51 year old Celine and reach out to both new potential fans and her longstanding fanbase.

You can say youre not particularly excited for an album or that youre not that into the single presented, thats free speech

 

 

But dont reply to someones who’s clearly very excited and tell them oh yeah, dont bother, its gonna be garbage, no cohesion, dont bother. Thats just incalled for and rude

 

And hes saying “again” so if he believes that many of her previous albums have been that bad, why bother staying on a forum for dedicated fans and bringing others down ?
