The article also has the excerpt Liz Plank included in her article for InStyle on Saturday, and referred to it as something she said at a recent event. What I gather, is they called in a bunch of these journalists in for a joint interview a few weeks ago, and each of them is dropping some new and different tidbits based on their personal takeaways.

Good way to "kill several birds with one stone" - lots of coverage, but all a bit different.

Gotta say I never thought I'd read a quote of Celine saying "saaang". She's really on top of things huh. Lol.

 

I have a feeling we will get a music video/single either tomorrow or Thursday. I'm probably very wrong but I feel it's coming.

So I found this old tweet about someone tried to guess the song title based on the piece of paper from the recording studio. Turns out he/she was right. But if it was right, since it was 2017, I'm worried the song will sound dated.

It probably will be a collection of songs she’s been recording these past few years — and I’m completely fine with that.

 

This album will be on Celine’s terms — a collage of her feelings and emotions since Rene passed away.

 

I’d rather a well thought out, well done album than a quickly produced record all from just this year.

 

With that said — it’d be so big if Adele

A collection means that Recovering and Ashes may also be included. Based on the trend that the albums contain mostly 12-14 songs, we have then 10-12 tracks that are new to us! Plus, we are talking about Celine, she loves covers, hence the number of new and fresh songs diminishes.

Well, I agree about 'Ashes', but I disagree about 'Recovering'. New arrangements or not, this track is now history. She can perform it during the tour and include the new arrangements in the live version.

They could’ve literally just released the live recording from the premiere in 2015 with some editing and called it a studio version.

 

It literally sounds as if they waited until the day after Rene passed and said “this is perfect, get Celine in to record”. Her voice sounds nasal, exhausted and shot

I am still annoyed every time I think about the studio version of TSMGO. It should've been given top-notch production instead of that rush job. Just imagine if they'd managed to get Brian May to play the guitar part. I can dream...
