Not saying what those things are when they aren't fully confirmed or finalized is better than if she talks about them and then they don't happen or are delayed. Then people would be complaining about that.

I'm happy to know she has many projects to look forward to because one of the worries we had was that once Vegas ended we would not hear or see much from her. From the sounds of it, that won't be the case, and that's really good news imo.

 

I mean no offense but I don't understand many on this site. You want Celine to surprise fans with releases but you also want her to reveal her plans, then you don't want her to say things that don't end up happening but you hate it if she says nothing. She can't win lol.

It's not an actual "Celine's singing my song" - more of a "I'd love to write for her because she's awesome". (As would I, but I'm not Shania so nobody's writing about it). It's like Celine talking about how she'd love to act for the past 20 years. Still hasn't happened.

In fact, if she wasn't able to record 'Now', she would primarily be a songwriter. And the fact that they met now (pun intended) while Céline is recording a new album (and Shania is rumoured to return to Vegas in the next years and may have also talked about that during their meeting) could be a very good sign. For all we know she already has a perfect song lying around. I'd have Shania write Céline another "From This Moment On" anyday! :wub: And they both know (now) how much the world (=me) wants that dream collab!

Well I’m all for a Shania song! And to who said they hate how singers think they are the best songwriters.

All I have to say is , she is a great songwriter, she’s been writing music since forever many successful songs from her albums were at least co written by her!

 

Also, I don’t think any other single artist has praised Celine more than Shania! I’ve always loved Shania not only for her music but her personality is the only other humble one I think of besides Celine, she may be even more humble!
