It's a 23 year old song that she's never shown any interest in, and it's about someone who broke up with her significant other and then regretted it. "The freedom that I walked away to gain/ is nothing but these chains." It would seem to me a very strange song for her to sing now. 5 Quote

It's all about interpretation.I know it's about a break up... but it's not really clearly stated. She said that last year has been her grieving year and in this last interview ( US today), she said she is strong in front of him but then she cries on her own... "The freedom that I walked away to gain/ is nothing but these chains" => she walked away from the spotlight to heal , to cope with her situation but in reality, when she's alone, she just breaks. Gosh, EVERYBODY is complaining about the fact she doesn't sing her own songs and now, if it's real, for once she picks up an unknown song ( for her, for her fans ), who cares it was recorded 23 or 60 years ago?It's a good ,beautiful, rare song of hers. Remember the Taking Chances Tour Book contained lots of song titles on the inside back cover and half of them weren't performed on the tour. However, I do have a feeling the set list will be more "Celine" than ever! I don't know why I just do. I just pray that the 30-40% of the show that is new is all Celine songs they have added and not more covers. As others have said,in all her tourbooks and tshirts etc in the past there's been songs that haven't been performed. Saying that I've always considered IYCSMN as a highlight on the CD album! As for DYHWIH, Celine is at cp over the Xmas period so it's likely they'll have stuff relating to her Xmas songs in the boutique. Cannot wait for Friday morning when I'll hopefully know how things went etc. 😃😄 Quote

Scott said that he didn't expect Céline to attend the first rehearsals but she did. She is on top shape ,vocally speaking. One day, she sang from 14.00 to 21.30, everybody was tired except her. They removed the James Bolnd Medley. The new visual are made by Yves aucoin cie 4UTOC. The cie worked with Canadiens de Montreal , Toronto Maple leafa, cirque du soleil. There is 10 new songs thaT were not in the keibords of Yves aucoin, whatever he means by that.
