Still I think that Celine can write great songs, but with all those songs she receives her input is a lot weaker.

Celine's way more thankful than Mariah. And Mariah needs a lot post production for her performances lately, while Celine doesn't.

Celine never broke down and she didn't need sex, rappers or any coolness to prove herself. Her emotion, voice, stage presence and sincerity were enough. And her personality and respect.

I only quoted the parts I agree with. I've heard in interviews and documentaries how the production company told Mariah how to look (clothes, make-up) and even what to sing (no hip hop although she likes this genre and has always wanted to do such songs) so she could seem 'whiter'. When she broke free from 'Sony', she started doing things she really wanted. I love her 90s music but I have to say it again - Mariah doing R'n'B/hip hop is for me the true Mariah just like Celine singing in French is the true Celine.

She probably knows that her album will struggle to sell 700,000 copies worldwide and therefore will be a flop like Memoirs Of An Imperfect Angel and Merry Christmas II You.

I don't really think that sells define if an album is a flop or not. If it's a good one, I wouldn't consider it a flop even if it sells just a thousand copies.

Mariah needs a new stylist. She doesn't need to be half hanging out of her dress. She's a pretty woman and she's present herself better if she made better clothing choices.
