What do you mean with that you hear "birds" in Overbored??? Did they bring "les oiseaux du bonheurJoy" inside the song or what??? I suppose I'll find out once I listen to the song LOL

 

i heard them too ! they are in the start of the song, birdsounds. To make the background even more Disney I suppose

They hired birdie to chirp a little while they were recording the duet!

 

I don't particulary dislike that effect. As a matter of fact, the first time I listened to it I thought that was the sound of birds from out the window, as I'm hearing right now.

Lady Gaga is on Graham Norton this Friday coming 8th Nov. ..so explains why Celine is not....imagine both of them together on the same show!!!

That would be odd! lol But then she is on the German show Wetten Das with Miley Cyrus later in the month. They could just round it out with this as well.

For Celine we could see this later:

I check my email everyday to see if my LP+CD has shipped lol

Nothing yet, I don't even have a confirmation number. I ordered mine through my play direct.

They payment was cleared so that is a good sign!

I keep checking mine too. So far nothing. It still says it hasn't shipped when I check my order status on amazon directly. It looks like, unless someone upgrades my shipping from the two-day to overnight, I won't have it Tuesday.

 

I preordered the same from amazon. I was hesitant but from what I've read it seems to be only one version of the LP so it has to be the same that the boutique is offering. At least I'm hoping it is. Lol

There's two version. There's a LP only version that's $19.99 I think. Then there's a LP+CD version which should be the same as what The Boutique sells.

I hate daylight savings for the fall. Especially since it gets dark out earlier but it does suck that we have to wait another hour before it is released here.

 

Also did you have to change the time on the forum because it is showing an hour later for me on the forum.

The album releases tomorrow here in South Africa and I went to the music shop today in the mall just to see if they have a little poster at least and to my surprise.. She has the WHOLE window... A huge poster with all her previous cd's below. She is definitely getting enough marketing here. Not even Miley had her own window It's like "the queen is returning"

Me too!! I had listened to it at least 3 times before I realized that the birds *only* appeared when the song was playing and must be coming from the computer and not the window.

But I will add that I love Overjoyed, and I'm so glad they included it! OK, when I first heard the introduction, I thought the album had stopped playing, and I'd been catapulted into a 1950s Christmas movie, and I think the song would fit better without that intro and without the birdie sounds, cute as they are. But I still love the song. .I think Stevie's and Celine's voices blend beautifully. ..the melody is so catchy and gets happily stuck in my head for hours .. .I would have been really disappointed if they left it out.

My estimated delivery time is the 4th - 11th lol. So who really know when I'll get it. On UPS tracking it just says that a label has been made on the 1st, but it hasn't made it to the facility...

It's funny how everyone hate Overjoyed and At 17, but they're my favorite tracks! So mellow yet amazing to me. I just hear the lyrics flow out and not paying so much attention to all the production value of a song that's bombastic like the first 5 tracks.
