While waiting for the release, I'm listening to the album in Spotify, which I'm still learning how it works.

 

So far, my favourite songs are Didn't Know Love and Thankful. Although I think Somebody Loves Somebody and Save Your Soul are better choices for singles.

After I got this album I got greedy and now I want more new music.

 

I can't possibly wait another six years for the follow up to this album. I really think this album is amazing, and I really hope it does extremely well. This album needs a sequel.

Still no word from either site I ordered from on my stuff being shipped. I'm going to be sad if Tuesday comes and goes with no album!

 

I think that if you pre-ordered from the boutique, you're supposed to get it on the day of release, however, nothing has been shipped yet and it's Saturday which means I think we're going to be album-less on Tuesday. The site said it would ship on or around November 1, but no confirmations yet... Grrrr...

Sounds like a good plan! There is a LP+CD edition that includes the CD in a jacket, not jewel case. But as far as I'm concerned, the LPs are all the same.

It's an import from France. A lot of people said there would be one for the US but no luck finding it anywhere. My best guess is the wal-mart edition but no one can confirm anything.

 

What's strange is the ASIN for the CD+DVD is listed as: "B00F0LG3BY". When you do a search for that on amazon.fr, it says that item isn't available and it directs you to the deluxe edition. I can only find it available for purchase on amazon.de or amazon.jp. No where else... Hope it wasn't cancelled!

I noticed that too. I found it once and posted a link for it, and the german link, in the pre-release thread when it was still active. But I can't find it anymore. I find it hard to believe they'd sell something that didn't exist somewhere. Especially directly from Amazon.

Yes, thank you! I meant that the LPs in themselves are the same. No one has a different song or anything.

I ordered the LP+CD one and that one says it's still processing and hasn't shipped yet. I think you're right about stuff coming from the warehouse. I don't think they expected as many of us to buy this like we did. The only that makes me nervous is the fine-print that says "while supplies last". But I can't imagine them not fulfilling all the pre-orders at least.

Please can someone explain me what Céline means when she says that this album is not including the "reverb effects" on her voice, like she used to doing in the past? What does she mean? I still notice her vibrato in Loved Me Back To Life when she sings "comma"

No thank you. That guy does not deserve any more attention after what he did to Céline. And Céline has been TOO kind to even apologize recently for not mentioning his name in that Katie Couric show. Enough generousity already from Céline and René. The song should have been dropped from the album, and they had been already too kind with including the song in the album and also performing it. Releasing it as a single would like bowing her head to DM again

Awww! It makes me think of my daughter. So does ABYG. I just listened to the rap interlude of SYS and it sounds awesome! I also love that Amazon gives you the mp3 version of the album with your purchase!!

I still don't get why the f**k is the rap version included only in the Vinyl and not on the CD? The rap made SYS sound so damn cool and that was what made me fall in love with it in the very first place

Maybe they plan on selling a Re-re-Deluxe edition later with that version. It seems René will not be the only one mortgaging houses to help Celine.

American fans, don't be silly! Don't buy Team Celine editions nor the LP from them or Amazon.

The Target edition is the same as what the TC edition will be

and MyPlayDirect is selling the LP+CD for $29.99 with post for less than $5.

 

My Music Today LP+CD shipped yesterday and should arrive sometime next week.
