I thought the Deluxe version only had 15 songs? Where did the extra two come from?

 

It only has 15 songs.

 

Save Your Soul feat Malcolm Kelley is ripped from the Vinyl.

The Instrumental is from the Remix contest where Sony released all the different instruments of the song.

Just got my digital copy! from Itunes. By the moment this will be the only copy I will buy... I'll wait for that DVD edition to be clear that it is the recording sessions...

 

By the way... Yesterday night I suddenly discover a 1 hour youtube video with the full LTAL recording sessions and it was an amazing documentary... Probably all of you have seen it but it was kind of new to me.. hahahaha...

 

 

You van find the recording sessions of both ltal and ssda on the au coeur du stade dvd

It's clearly a rip-off! I wonder if they mention it in the credits!

 

Hopefully Céline won't face any legal issues!

I got the CD last Saturday!! :w00t: I happened to be in Germany (where it was released on Nov.1st) and ran to Media Markt and bought the only Deluxe Version that was there :D And there were only 3 CDs (regular version) :confused: Hopefully it's because they had not received the big shipment yet... Distribution seems to be an issue in many countries... :o

It would be amazing if sony released the DVD with the quebeck concert and included all the recording sessions from sans attandre AND loved me back to life just like they did with the Au coeur du stade

Yes, distribution seems to be a big issue with this. I wonder why that is? :hmm: Release day is tomorrow here in the US....can't imagine them having that problem here. At least I really hope not, that would be bad.

This could be why I'm not able to find any sort of DVD edition here (even though France & Germany apparently has one??). It'd be cool to have them all in one; maybe 2 discs. They should also release a cd of the concert. :clap:

I think that's because US iTunes doesn't show new stuff until Tuesdays. At leas I hope so!

A CD+DVD edition is available on Amazon.de now, but still nothing on Amazon.fr since it was removed the other day. It seems very strange that we've had no proper information about this version, I hope it's not just a mistake.

 

Also, the UK still has no sign of the vinyl edition. The only one listed on Amazon UK is the LP/CD edition, but it's an import.

I don't really think it sounds like "Sunshine", but that is one of my favorite soundtracks of all time, and if Celine did a song with that track I'd be in heaven! That would be unimaginable.

 

I'm getting chills just thinking about it!

Ok guys here's a sample I made of Céline's voice on Breakaway but with her original pitch.

 

You'll see she sounds less "girly" but a lot more like her. And the big notes sound a lote more powerful.

 

They probably did it because Céline was struggling with the original key, which is quite high for her 45 year-old voice.

 

Now you'll understand what I was talking about when I said her voice had been pitched, and you'll recognize the real Céline right away!

The only weird thing about my sample is that I had to lower the tempo too, cuz I did it fast. But listen to the voice!

Give me a break. The original key of this song is not that HIGH and HARD that celine would actually struggle hitting them like what you are saying. There must be another reason why they "pitched" the song.

That said, i still don't like this version. It just sounds kind of contrived and forced to me. I am also not liking ivy's but, imho, her studio version is relatively better only because it sounds more convincing than this.
