Seems weird that so many different countries are getting different second singles, I could understand having two (one in NA and one in Europe) but three seems odd. Not to mention Unfinished Songs is a peculiar choice for a single, especially a second one. I really like the new revamped album version but there's definitely songs that I think would be more successful singles, like Water and a Flame or Thankful or Didn't Know Love. Wonder why they aren't getting Breakaway like the UK and France or even Incredible like the US and Canada. Why Unfinished Songs?

I really hope so. If nothing else, we know we have the upcoming TV Special. I hope they surround that with some other promo. An appearance on Ellen again -- singing INCREDIBLE would do wonders. Even if it's just the performance -- and then a quick interview with Ne-Yo and Celine. And if the special is getting taped in Los Angeles, then this is feasible.

 

What other shows are taped in LA? Leno? I hope she does one more round of talk shows.

She doesn't start her Vegas show until Dec. 30th. I'm guessing after Paris, Dec. 5, they'll take a week off, then do a 10-12 day holiday promo in the U.S. I feel like it's gonna be done like a holiday album. She'll do probably 2-3 tv appearance to promote the special. We'll see, but you know the Celine Team anchored by Rene, I doubt they would take 3 weeks off and do nothing.

Have they ever shown any logic with the promotion schedule of this album? Nope. Don't look for any However it seems the album is working its way in some countries at least, like UK.

I think the UK promo was fabulous, and as it coincided with the album release date, it pushed lots of sales.

 

While also great, the US promo didn't coincide, which might have taken away some of the thunder it might have had. Thankfully, as the holiday season has just started, if there is some promo planned stateside after the European tour, it should kickstart the album's sales there.

It is so so so so so GOOD. Best songs in my opinion are Loved Me Back To Life , Somebody Loves Somebody, Incredible, Breakaway, Thank You, Thankful and Unfinished Songs!

Think Twice is such a fantastic song, I can't believe it didn't really do well in the US. Shows how stupid America is. But who cares about that now, we get Breakaway as a second single! It's so amazing!

In a way I loved that Think Twice wasn't great in America. That proved that it wasn't just one hit that made her a global phenomenon, but a bunch of smashes. And if "Breakaway" gets more attention than LMBTL in the UK, which I think is very possible, I have hopes for at least 4 singles there... and probably more surprises for 2014.

No not yet. Its released in Japan on December 4th, but there is a low quality youtube video where you can hear the OA bonus track

My friend saw this in starbucks here in Vancouver, Canada. Pretty nice promo for the album. I remember during the week the album released, the album was also featured as "being played" in the store.

I want that card!!! I remember I had one for Adele and then she smashed into the music scene.

Celine Dion's album 'Loved Me Back To Life' has been certified gold - just three weeks after its release. The album is still riding high in the Top 10 Official Album Charts.

 

'Breakaway' is the second track to be lifted from Celine's latest album 'Loved Me Back To Life' ' which has become Celine's highest UK charting album in a decade, debuting at No.3 in the Official Albums Chart.

 

'Breakaway' is a powerful and soulful track and has been confirmed as BBC Radio 2 'Record Of The Week' this week. This follows the success of the title track 'Loved Me Back To Life' which was also 'Record Of The Week' and A Listed at Radio 2.

I remember Pepillo insisted that I watched it before travelling from Costa Rica to Europe to catch her tour, but I refused as I wanted it to be a surprise. Then she didn't sing it on both concerts I attended, and I eventually forgot to check it out. It's amazing!!

There is an idiotic article on the Daily Mail dedicated solely to how old Celine looks in some recent pap pics in Paris. I realize that the Daily Mail is not exactly the Wall Street Journal, but seriously!?? The writer should be slapped. And now there are endless copycat articles in other languages, including a bunch in Vietnamese with colorful descriptions such as "she looks like a 70 year old hag instead of 45"

Breakaway has definitely more potential in the UK than LMBTL had as a single! Hopefully people will fall in love with the song and then share the official video on their facebook walls! oh wait... there isn't one
