Gaga's numbers this week are overshadowed by Celine's numbers on her second week, and seeing Celine's third week numbers so close to albums with smash singles make me happy and excited for the rest of the album's life.

I walked into FNAC in Paris and saw several Japanese copies of Gaga's album, so I ran like a bat out of hell hopi g to see they'd have Celine's. I was disappointed. RIP Virgin.

I have a friend who like Celine too but he stop buying her album after A New Day Has Come because he thinks it's too edgy for him (he's 40) and he like the old Celine, and yesterday he found out that that Celine have a new CD just because he saw it in CD store not from radios or other media, but he hasn't bought it, i guess now it's my job to make him buy the CD

stuff like what? Avril's album was LESS successful than Celine's and she still gets a full treatment from her (bankrupt) label!

Yeah, like Alex said, it's probably her fourth. But I'm not too worried about things video-wise. Celine almost always throws in a live video for a single, so I'm guessing they went with the live one for the first single and subsequent ones will have the proper MV. We'll just need to wait a bit and don't get desperate. Now if we're on single 4 and no video has yet been produced, we can dismiss the chill pill man and look for something even stronger.

BTW guys here's my cover of "Save Your Soul". This time I tried something different since I loved the song but I'm not too convinced about the "Maroon 5-sounding chorus". It's a different approach. I also included part of Malcolm Kelley's rap cuz I think it really fits the song!! and yeah, I got some of the lyrics wrong

Whoa!

Ok what I meant is that people here come to the forum and talk about other artists/singers achievements and then think as if Celine should be doing the samething. Everyone is different and not everyone will be promoting the same.

 

Sorry for attacking you or anything. I just think we shouldnt be comparing other people's successes and then Celine's camp should do the same. It's not going to happen.

best options i see are: Incredible and somebody loves somebody, because these are the kind of tracks that the generation of now listens to. And Incredible with Ne-Yo is even better because he is well known. I think this song could easily become a hit - IF promoted well.

The new mix for unfinished songs does not sound like a possible single for me at all.
