Kev I know how you feel! I like to think Celine would tell us the best is yet to come. It helps if you look at it that way I think.

It just confirms that Sony US promotion (targeting older female audience) is wrong and failing... I still remember that "We won't get Céline on Top 40 radio" motto from Sony, and buying advertising based on those demographics is so old-school in my opinion. It sure wouldn't hurt for the younger viewers to see the ad for LMBTL featuring Ne-Yo!!! You think Sony could have placed an ad during the American Music Awards?? I'm pretty sure they didnt...

This logic of theirs pisses me off! (and I'm an older female!) What on earth is their problem!

Starting to get that sad feeling now both the French album and English album is out and we have heard all the songs.

 

It's been a long time of waiting for the album and I've been so used to waiting for news and waiting that now the wait is over, I don't really know what to look forward to now.

 

Love both the albums we've had but I'm sad to think it's all over now as promo has slowed down

 

Loved the ups and downs we've had all this time.... The wait was worth it! Two amazing albums!

 

So what's next?? ;p.

 

Hoping the singles will keep the album going and we will have some more little treats in the near future from this album.... I mean where is the special limited editions for these albums like we got for D and TC ? Hope the other singles will have cd singles too

I think December will be an exciting month for us, as Celine will do some promotion in United States. Something tells me she will go for another mini-tour in UK next year to 'celebrate' the strong sales of 'Loved Me Back To Life' there. Look forward to that!

This album makes me feel there's something missing at some point, as if they went halfway with it, but never put 100% of what they could offer on it. It will be interestin to see what they do with the next singles. I hope they have not ended the promo already because there are a couple of songs which would deserve at least one performace!

I can understand if they can't leave TPOL BYLM ABM or MHWGO, but i think they can replace LCMM and RDMH anytime with another uptempo songs.

I don't know if you guys remember, about a month ago I went to a music store, and saw this huge poster in the window of Celine, for release of new album. Anyway they said they would keep it for me when they take it down. This morning they phoned me to say they have taken it down and I can come and fetch it. I went to fetch it straight away, but first bought 2 slabs of chocolate, one for the manager of the store and the lady who phoned me, they were both there a month ago when I asked them about it. The young girl at first didn't want to take the chocolate, but I said please, I appreciate it so much that they remembered to phone me. It was really very kind of them.

The setlist of her show should change drastically now that she has a new album out. It should be more original too. 3 years of oldies were ok, 9 years of them will be too much.

I haven't put it up yet. My husband and son must put it up for me. I'll have to either take a couple of other pictures down which I had blown up to a big size, or put it on another wall in the bedroom. The poster is so big, in the music store it was from the ceiling down to the floor, so I guess it's going to be the same here. Hope I don't sh;t myself when I wake up with this huge thing, ha ha!!! I will take a picture and show you when they put it up ok. It's the same picture that is on the front of the album.

I went into a record store yesterday, and they were playing Breakaway quite loud. I had to stay and listen to the entire song to see if they played just that song or the entire album. Then Save Your Soul came on next, so I guess they played the entire album. Also, a few days ago I was the H&M store and there I heard Thankful, but I only heard parts of it, and I didn't hear any other Celine songs later, so I guess it was part of a playlist. Anyway, it kind of made me happy!

I know, they know I'm crazy about Celine. A couple of times I had the pictures which I had blown up, I had it put on like a block frame thing, and my husband had to drill holes in the wall so that I could hang them. Maybe I must put this poster on the side wall of the bedroom next to the window, then we won't look directly onto the picture, seeing that it is so big. The only wall that is still no Celine is the wall behind our bed. I think I'm going to put it on the side wall, cause if people come down the passage and see that poster, they might think I'm going bonkers, off my head or something, ha ha. You're right, that mole is going to be huge, Celine is going to be huge.

Recently, I always wonder what would happen if the Loved me back to life & Taking chances albums exchanged their release order?Like we had LMBTL in 2007 and TC now.I think LMBTL would be outstanding performance & TC would be still strong!anyone agree?It is late for SONY and Celine's team to make any change.most of the new CD is good but just late.

I didn't even read the so called story at the time, the headline was enough to convince me to forget about all things Celine for a couple of days and focus on other things. I think it was a wise decision.

 

Open Arms sounds lovely. I'm glad I chose priority fedex delivery from cdjapan for the Japan pressing.

 

Will pick up my vinyl/cd edition from the post office tomorrow. UK customs are just nasty though, did anyone get hit with similar fees?

When I ordered my album from the boutique, I paid $20 just for postage, that was the cheapest for international shipping. That was already more than the album. When I fetched it at our post office, I had to pay another $8. Our exchange rate is 10 rand to $1. So for postage alone I had to pay R200 plus another R87. I was furious to have to pay almost R300 just for postage. That's a lot of money for us. Makes me so the hell in.

According to wikipedia, the next single will be "Open Arms". I don't know if it's realible, but it's pathetic

 

If they do this, that has got to be one of the most stupid decisions they ever make.

 

They've got plenty of other great songs to choose from. I don't really think it's going to happen though, the song is not even on the album, just the Japanese version. But you never know, Sony never seezes to surprise me. Let's pray they actually use their brain.

I ordered from music store @ celinedion.com on 8th November (was shipped same day)and it arrived yesterday the 26th. If you have waited any longer than 25 days then you should e-mail play direct a friendly complaint. They might ask if you have checked at your local post office, you might want to do that first. Although its not like royal mail to forget to leave a card, especially if there are customs charges.

 

Wow at the charges Sharon had to pay, maybe uk customs aren't as bad as I thought. Sounds like these vinyl copies have been on a world tour.

It is so unbelievable that we still don't have any kind of rumour about any kind of music video... LMBTL had great reviews and good sales... and they just don't care about giving us, at least, one music video... In one month she will be back to Vegas... seriously is not going to be anything in the meantime?? No video shooting? I think this is sooo artistically lazy. Is not because it's going to help commercially... I don't know if music videos are that effective.... But it's just another way of artistic expression, and it is as simply as everyone makes at least one. This lack of interest it is so sad...
