LOL talking about fraud... no word on what sort of deal SIA, MOTESART and SHAM did with Hans Zimmer for the undoubted "Inception Theme" ripoff.

 

It's weird because had it been a proper "sample" they usually credit it! example: Madonna with "Hung Up".

So Celine stole from Daniel Merriweather, Sia stole from Hans Zimmer, and Beyonce stole from Celine...

there's a famous saying in spanish "quien roba a un ladrón tiene cien anos de perdón"

 

"whoever steals from a thief, gains 100 years of forgiveness" LOL

Beyonce is a repeat offender, so she must have thousands of years of forgiveness, we are not finished with her. but stealing from Celine is low. So now she wants to be the perfect mother.

Ahhh OK. I just seen my first commercial for the album that wasn't on QVC! It showed some in studio with Ne-Yo too !!! Food Network knows what's up!

I've never seen a commercial for LMBTL myself but people have said they've seen ads for the album on the Food Network, Lifetime, WE and TV Land. Why can't they also buy airtime with stations that have predominantly young viewers?

I don't know if you guys remember, about a month ago I went to a music store, and saw this huge poster in the window of Celine, for release of new album. Anyway they said they would keep it for me when they take it down. This morning they phoned me to say they have taken it down and I can come and fetch it. I went to fetch it straight away, but first bought 2 slabs of chocolate, one for the manager of the store and the lady who phoned me, they were both there a month ago when I asked them about it. The young girl at first didn't want to take the chocolate, but I said please, I appreciate it so much that they remembered to phone me. It was really very kind of them.

My friend saw this in starbucks here in Vancouver, Canada. Pretty nice promo for the album. I remember during the week the album released, the album was also featured as "being played" in the store.

It just confirms that Sony US promotion (targeting older female audience) is wrong and failing... I still remember that "We won't get Céline on Top 40 radio" motto from Sony, and buying advertising based on those demographics is so old-school in my opinion. It sure wouldn't hurt for the younger viewers to see the ad for LMBTL featuring Ne-Yo!!! You think Sony could have placed an ad during the American Music Awards?? I'm pretty sure they didnt... :wacko:

I was just so extremely grateful for the poster. I offered to buy it from them a month ago when I first spoke to them and they said no, I can have it. I couldn't believe it.

Starting to get that sad feeling now both the French album and English album is out and we have heard all the songs.

 

It's been a long time of waiting for the album and I've been so used to waiting for news and waiting that now the wait is over, I don't really know what to look forward to now.

 

Love both the albums we've had but I'm sad to think it's all over now as promo has slowed down

 

Loved the ups and downs we've had all this time.... The wait was worth it! Two amazing albums!

 

So what's next?? ;p.

 

Hoping the singles will keep the album going and we will have some more little treats in the near future from this album.... I mean where is the special limited editions for these albums like we got for D and TC ? Hope the other singles will have cd singles too

I kinda like the new version of OA. It's quite neat. Though much less glamour and drama than the live version. But it's nice and frech.... too sad it's way too short though. Why wasn't this included in the normal version of the album? I can name a handful tracks it easily could have replaced there.

So what's next?? ;p. I think the DVD of the Quebec concert is next. Didn't they mention something about it coming out after Christmas? That would be nice, am looking forward to whenever it is released.

Sorry, don't know why I do that sometimes. Put my quote in the middle of someone else's quote. Was just saying we are supposed to be getting the Quebec concert on DVD after Christmas. That will be something to look forward to, whenever it comes.
