That said, I must admit that they went much closer to 'perfection' this time than with 'Taking Chances', 'Miracle' and 'One Heart'. I do enjoy this album!

I so agree but on Idolator for example they have a poll for best album of the year with like 20 albums to choose from but LMBTL is not one of them :S

I agree that "Attendre" was a great contender for a single, but the album did incredibly well, and even if the tour was called the "SA" tour, I wouldn't see an inconvenience that the song was not performed, as us the fans know the song very well, and probably a large percentage of the tour attendees did listen to it, but many people didn't and still several songs were performed from the album, including some that I didn't expect to be. (Le Miracle was not performed in any of the dates I attended, and while I don't like QPVSA and I wanted to listen to LM, I don't regret having seen QPVSA live).

 

There are many other Celine albums whose title songs were not released as singles.

 

The one song i believe screamed for radio release as 3rd single was Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour (around Valentine's) but they chose "Celine peut vivre sans tube"

LMBTL will not be eligible for these Grammys, as it was released outside of the eligibility period, which is October 1, 2012 through September 30, 2013. So, it will be eligible for submission for the 57th Awards to be handed out in 2015.

So i have my copy just now (not my fault) but i was pretty shocked when i read her thank u lines, i mean she didnt mention US? or i just dont get it? I cant believe it really, without fans there wont be the whole family afair around her career. It ruined my day and all album enjoyment sorry

 

Let's say this album has been so rushed (despite the 6 year gap) that even the "thank you's" were written in a hurry However there are two songs were she thanks and is thankful. Funny eh?

Got my Japanese edition of 'Loved Me Back To Life'! I pre-ordered it from amazon.jp and it came yesterday (Dec.4th)! I was surprised it came on the release date! Very quick delivery! So happy I bought 3 of the album to give to my aunt and cousins They're so lucky, they're getting the Japanese edition lol They don't even know that the version they have is 'rare' and quite expensive lol There's a hint of a rockier sound on 'Open Arms'. I like it! I'm sure they'll like Celine's new album

She's getting a lot of negative press and comments for apparently refusing to appear on the X Factor again.

 

People are weird....they won't believe that she's just busy. She has a new album out and her schedule is mostly full..give the woman a break

But if i remember correctly, near at the end she thanks her "loved ones", saying somthing like without them, she wouldn't be able to achieve what she has today. I was kinda thinking if the "loved ones" implies to her fans. Haha

I understand what you mean, but I don't think that's what she's saying in the song . .she's saying she wishes she could talk to her father. It's a song about her wanting to do all these grand but impossible things -- capture the moon, save the world -- and one heartbreakingly simple but equally impossible thing -- talk to her father.

Don't forget TCOML i like the retro feeling those 2 albums bring rather than some cheesy tracks the other 2 have (i blame production)

there's something retro about Loved me back to life so i think it as a return to those albums' form

Well for this album we got nothing of both options. Most of the fans in this forum agreed (if not everyone) that "Attendre" was screaming to be a single and that it should be performed, and it was not single nor performed a single time (except for that minute and a half playback performance in a TV show the past year). I respect when they try to do different things, but naming the album after a song and ignoring it, to me that's not doing something different, that's being stupid and neglecting another GREAT song (another one to the already loooong list)

When they choose a title for an album, whether it be a song title or not, it's merely because it fits the entire theme of the album. Not because it's supposed to be promoted as a single.
