I've been told 3 hours ago and I'm still out of words :( Honestly I don't know what the hell is going on between Céline/René and Sony Music relations these days :confused1: Obviously its not something good.

 

There's a huge lack of understanding and communication, of that I'm sure. What one part wants to do, what the hell the manager wants to do, and Céline in the middle of everything. There's not much one can do if the other part is not wanting to do their best for a new release. Sony Music can't do miracles with Céline albums and singles if she and René don't want to put the best of their parts.

 

So disappointed and pissed off with everybody in this game, including Celine :( :confused1:

See? As we all said before they would do. It's AN AMAZING way to start the promotion of a single and album. No MV.

This says A LOT about what can we expect about the time life of this album. At the second single, no one will even remember she released an album.

News can be very misleading sometime! Assuming or expecting the there is no video for LMBTL, any member in this forum is talented enough to shoot it own video concept using LMBTL and blast the video as official to the world thru social media ? I personally don't know how to film / direct / edit a video but I guess should have talented members in this forum ? Just like a lot other cover version music video available in YouTube was really shoot professionally make it look like a official music, I seen many version of unofficial music video of Beyonce's Halo and I was here which really tastefully done n look perfect! Let film the video to the best even deserve to win the Grammy, whatever music awards for yearly best music video and put SONY MUSIC, team Celine to real shame for putting Celine's most potential powerful modern edgy fresh ballad to dead end! They are putting all real hardcore fans to dead end too!

You know (if this is true) even if there is no financial gain from Sony making and releasing a music video surely Celine has earned the right to make a music video for her releases. She's sold over 200 million albums for Sony, she shouldn't need to ask permission to make one.

 

It is of course a different story if Rene and Celine have themselves decided not to make one...

So one hasn't been shot FOR THE MOMENT. This could change. Perhaps one will be released closer to the album's release since it seems that we will be getting the 2nd single after the album is out?

Not necessary to have Celine in a music video! A lot nicely film music video were edit capture using a lot of previous music video footage! Beyonce's I WAS HERE, is a great example

I have no idea what is going on! It is hard to accept there won't be a music video for the lead single of her upcoming album.

 

First - and only - thought so far is that they don't want to invest any money on the CD-single, because it didn't perform well on the charts. However, this barely makes sense... A music video is supposed to boost the single sales, it shouldn't be treated as the bonus/gift that follows a successful single release.

Oh come on, clearly the video has been cancelled! "No other video is planned", read CelineDionItalia and The Red Heads on facebook. The single is already considered a flop by Sony (hard to believe this when they did nothing to support it). The news is that she's not doing a videoclip for the song and they've sent the live video in Quebec to TVs (something which we have already seen these last days during her interviews in Miami). If you still think that this is going to happen after a month since the single was released...

Celine as a public figure should understand the fact that whatever she does to her music will impact the fans emotion be it she likes it or not this does happens ! But it seems like no more human touch element from Celine and she just do whatever decision end up hurting the fans that love her , she just doesn't care anymore! We should all sign on a petition to boycott this record ! To show we care we love her music !!! Boycott boycott boycott!

We all expected so much from a great single as LMBTL is, and this is so...sad!

Again they pranked all of us with "all" the promo for the single: Analyzing the situation Une seule fois concert was a "smart" move for promoting the song and getting a video, she sings it in LV and the latest interviews where she only mention it (except Jimmy K and Ellen)...that's a shame!

I've loved the interviews until now, but seriously that wasn't promo at all for the lead single of her NEW album ... they were more fucused on Celine's life (RC, for how long them both have been married, her houses..etc)

 

Dunno what are they waiting for! and is a waste of time becase she should rest her voice and being more time with her family instead THIS promo...

Wow. So it's looking increasingly like BBC Radio 2 next week is our last hope of generating a bit of buzz anywhere for the single. How depressing. Here's hoping the UK bucks the trend. Let's see "Think Twice" all over again and make this a smash hit in the UK even though the rest of the world ignores it.

It's a shame it was ignored here.... sad right now. I just don't get it......
