This is amazing! As much as y'all are hatin on Barnev, I think he sounds amazing! His voice really has a higher register then Ne-Yo's. It works. And the rearrangement of the songs amazing too!

Well, Barnev does not sound badly in this song, he is not Ne-Yo but he is good enough to perform when it is necessary... as many other singers.

 

"Incerdible" is a very good song in my opinion and, personally, I would not like to see this song finish on "live performances" as other song - "The Prayer". Both, in my judgement, should be sung in the original duo ONLY, "live" or "semi-live" with use of a modern technology if it is necessary.

 

In a moment we can see as Ne-Yo sings "Incredible" on its own or other R&B concerts eg. with Beyoncé or Rihanna...

 

In the past Ne-Yo said about this duet, more or less this way: "Because of the size of Celine Dion's voice, you know, you just don't need me there, she can do the whole song herself... Honestly, she was very nice to me and let me stay at the song."

 

So, I would like that Celine and Ne-Yo always sing this song together, but I know and you know, sometimes "business is business"...

I just don't think Barnev is a frontman...at all. That's just my opinion. He should remain in the back where he belongs. My ears are never pleased on any duet he sings with Celine, his "soul medley" on the TC tour makes me cringe, and I feel they give him too much time on the front line. I just never thought he was that great.

The LV Incredible version sounds decent. It's live and Céline sounds good. Barnev and Céline's voices blend nicely in most of the song. He isn't Ne-Yo but as people have said, it's good she is performing new songs in the show. Personally, I would like her to sing "Break Away" and/or "Somebody Loves Somebody".

It's hard to tell on a bootleg, but he didn't sound flat to me. Maybe a bit sharp and pitchy. The main thing I noticed is that he was dropping out sooner at the end of each line sung. If he were a beginner, I'd blame it on improper breathing techniques and bad breath control. However, I doubt that's it, seeing as he is Ceine's back-up singer (and has been for a while). Maybe it's just how he prefers to do his phrasing?

Yep, and the night I was there anyway Barnev sounded great! However, this is coming from someone who is not really into Ne-Yo's voice. I am sure he is great from a techincal point of view that surpasses my understanding, but as a general audience member, I don't really get the Ne-Yo appeal. I am not saying he isn't talented, of course he is very talented. This is really just a matter of preference I suppose. I am glad he is on the album, and he seems to be a truly kind person in interviews.

 

The audience gave a standing ovation and seemed to love Incredible. It fits in more nicely than LMBTL. Don't get me wrong, LMBTL performed live in Vegas was awesome and I loved it! But, maybe she just feels more comfortable with Incredible? Whatever the reason, Incredible fits the show nicely, they both performed it amazingly well, and now after Incredible there is a little mini speech added too (I would give more details, but I do not want people to say I spoiled anything by being too specific). I was so happy they added Incredible!
