Shaun Posted March 23, 2014 at 02:02 PM Posted March 23, 2014 at 02:02 PM Thanks for the new Vegas bootleg, I think they both sound amazing and I love how Celine mixes it up in places. What an audience though. No wonder Celine is stunned by the reactions she gets on tour as she must sometimes forget she has actual fans as opposed to the "oh we're in Vegas we may as well go and see Celine" crowds. 2 Quote Bringing you the world's only Celine Dion podcast show since 2014.Find us on Soundcloud, Apple Podcasts, Spotify & Amazon Music.
smash Posted March 23, 2014 at 02:18 PM Posted March 23, 2014 at 02:18 PM It couldn't be in the US, cause Caesars won't allow her to do one. If those rumors are true about China- then maybe she's gonna do concerts around the world but in forms like that. That would make sense If she is not prepared to do long world tours anymore, then like you say, she could do these little tours in the times that she has off. It would make sense, so that her fans that are FAR away, and really cannot afford to go to Vegas, that she can go to those countries, at some time. Oh I hope and pray that Celine will come here to South Africa again. She has only been here once before, on the last world tour. Sharon Quote
browseceline Posted March 23, 2014 at 02:22 PM Posted March 23, 2014 at 02:22 PM Fed up of waiting for the music video so made my own - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZGh5MB_32SE Loved it guys! Perfect mix and it seemed you shoot everything with this video in mind. It is indeed incredible. The fireworks work perfect with the incredible anthem, the sepia/old movieshots work perfect too and I can see you both had a great time and this video reflects that completely! Well done! Loved it! 1 Quote <iframe width="640" height="390" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/hl2XkxnYljg" frameborder="0" allow="autoplay; encrypted-media" allowfullscreen></iframe>

smw Posted March 23, 2014 at 07:59 PM Posted March 23, 2014 at 07:59 PM It's fantastic to have at least one song from the album in the show. That way, Celine can reference the album and people can go buy it after the show. And it's just good for people to hear that she's still releasing new music. I think they sound great in the clip! I hope that as Rene's health improves, Celine agrees to add in a few new songs down the road. 1 Quote

It's really a crap-shoot. I'll go one night and there is so much energy from the crowd and then go the next night and the crowd needs life support! That's why I think they didn't keep LMBTL in. When I saw her, the audience gave her a standing ovation the moment she stepped on the stage, before she sang one note or said one word. 2 Quote

SuperLove4Celine Posted March 24, 2014 at 02:07 AM Posted March 24, 2014 at 02:07 AM It's not the crowd's fault for not getting into a song. It is an artist's job (and their team's job) to make sure they know how to tap into their market and get them excited. This is something I believe has been lacking from Celine's shows for quite some time. Call it complacency due to working with the same people all the time, perhaps? Anyway, "Incredible" COULD work in her current show if the rest of the set list had some cohesion with more insight into who Celine is as a person, artist and performer, and wasn't filled with random covers and Advil PM ballads. While it isn't the case for everybody visiting Las Vegas, the majority of people seeking a show on The Strip are looking for something exciting, something exhilarating. I would never use either of those words to describe "Celine." The Vegas residency is a nice diversion from the slots, but it is nothing inspiring. It is nothing that is innovative or fresh. (Holograms have been used for quite sometime with other artists before the debut of "Celine".) If the show would just consider adding some of the following songs (I'll stick with English), THEN people may start to take notice more while they are in The Colosseum:"That's The Way It Is" (one of, if not THE most well-known uptempo hit of Celine's)"Taking Chances""Misled" (first #1 dance hit)"A New Day Has Come (Radio Remix)""I'm Alive""You And I""Somebody Loves Somebody" (should be her next Summer single)"Save Your Soul""Unison (Single Mix)" (with or without the rap)"Fade Away""One Heart" (Not a personal favorite, but with the right arrangement, it could get people up and dancing)"This Time" (She has made a comment about wanting to help people in violent situations with this song, but has never performed it live. Well, she has the perfect platform to help people in Las Vegas. She has the potential to help over 4,000 individuals during just one show!)"Love You Blind" (While never released commercially, "Love You Blind" has potential to be a great live number.) That's my two cents, anyway. 4 Quote
Xpresso Posted March 24, 2014 at 02:34 AM Posted March 24, 2014 at 02:34 AM The older crowd can always attend Britney's show if they want something exilharating! Otherwise I think Céline's show is going after the right crowd for Vegas.... 3 Quote

Then, going by this way of thinking, all uptempo songs should be removed from "Celine" and she should never do anything upbeat in her Vegas show ever again. Quote

I think that is not the intention of the show or the audience in the show. "Celine" concept it is focused in a more classy audition, more in the way of Frank Sinatra in Vegas.... you can call it more boring if you want, but it is not a rock&roll show with fireworks.... the concept it is a Diva with stunning dresses, amazing vocals and a full orchestra. For me the problem is that it is in the middle of nowhere right now... it is not fully orchestrated and not fully modern.... She sang LMBTL and NMQP with the same white dress.... If they try to keep with the Classy Diva Recital, where the audience is quiet and appreciating the vocals, the only new songs I would add are Thankful, Didn't Know Love or BreakAway, or maybe a real orchestrated new version of LMBTL (that would be interesting). But it seems they really don't know how to manage the concept of the show in the point that it seems, for the bootleg and videos, that any of the songs have real orchestral arrangements (the classics The Power of LOve, Because you LOved Me, WDMHBN, etc... all sounds more or less the same as always...) The thing is that if would go to see "Celine" , I wouldn't be expecting to jump and dance and cheer... I'm going to something fancy and quiet where the most important thing is to hear THE VOICE.... (even some of you say she lip syncs some songs or notes... so what the hell.... everything comes nonsense going to see Celine... there is nothing spectacular on stage and no real voices... ;) ) 1 Quote

Wita19 Posted March 24, 2014 at 11:01 AM Posted March 24, 2014 at 11:01 AM (edited) Celine should do the concerts for real fans, live audience, who would give her so much energy as she gives! I love watching her singing something she really WANTS to sing! When she has fun, the audience has even more fun listening and watching! Some people don't like the the fact that Celine sings many covers in Vegas. But that's the only way for her to sing what she wants! Not just MHWGO and TPOL... She needs something else, not only 20-year-old ballads... That's what the "fans" want, not her. After watching Celine singing Rolling In The Deep I realised how much fun she has! However, she's got so many amazing songs which she could enjoy on the stage! Especially the new ones! But after Vegas audience reaction to Incredible... But I agree, it propably depends on the evening. Celine, do an anti-tour and sing whatever you want! Don't you think it would be the best tour ever?I would die to see this live! Xpresso Posted March 24, 2014 at 11:03 AM Posted March 24, 2014 at 11:03 AM @SuperLove - An older crowd doesn't necessarily mean a dead crowd or a crowd that won't enjoy a few upbeat songs... like RDMH or LCMM 4 Quote
