Well some people need to stop complainin' constantly, and stop having high expectations. Her career is not first anymore so I guess you guys should get used to it.

 

Btw some of the members on this forum complain more than the other member who hasn't posted in awhile.

Ιs it me or this album has been jinxed from the beginning? 1) There was no direction and her team was going back and forth with their ideas. 2) Too much whining coming from the fans when they announced that they would include the Vegas covers. 3) The conflict Daniel M. ignited. 4) Celine gets sick and goes off during the first TV performances of LMBTL. 5) For the first time in her career she is ignored by AC radios... And now this! 'Incredible' is pretty much neglected, while we thought NBC would support it.

This album is being boycotted by the record, so it may be, was waiting to see if the video pair would appear in the range of the opening ceremony and nothing when we have this video, were already to be released.

wow again its so sad if the video does get shelved... :( i mean seriously celine & neyo went out of their way to make the video even tho loved me back to life never got to have a video tho it should have sigh again... it would suck for celine & neyo if the video for incredible never got released or even put on frickin youtube.. in fact if i were either one of them i would be upset about that, to have worked on something put my all into it just for the project to be discarded... :( & im not a singer or anything close to one lol, im not talented at all like celine is, i cant sing for beans lol... The video can't be entirely shelved, can it?! They even had giraffes stomp the streets of LA, they can't let all the effort go to waste.. No way... I won't believe it. Even if the thing with NBC doesn't happen, I believe they'll upload it on youtube some time soon.

I'm sure they'll still release the video on YouTube since it cost so much money to make. Didn't they just film Celine and Ne-Yo on the rooftop last week? That's not the only part of the video. They will have to shoot the other actors. And then, there's post-production. The video will have to be edited, etc. It could take a good 2-4 weeks before the video is ready to be viewed after it has finished shooting.

No need to freak out until we know for sure!! The shooting is done, so why would they can the video now? And nobody said Incredible was the official song for sure I think. If I remember correctly one tv host said the song will be used as a winner's song. I can't imagine Incredible being played when an athlete underperforms or screws up... it's a good song... IF YOU WIN!!

They never said that NBC was going to use "Incredible" for the Opening Ceremony, it was always going to be "one of the songs used" during telecasts. Back in 1996, "Reach" by Gloria Estefan was the "official" song, but "The Power of the Dream" was used quite frequently during promos, video recaps, etc. I don't think there's any reason to believe we won't see the video, also we were never told that the video would be released this week. It was all just speculation.

This would also give Celine more time for video production, and would actually be much smarter from a business perspective, since most people interested in the Olympics will be a bit preoccupied until the closing ceremony. If she releases the video / single right after the closing ceremony, she can piggyback off the momentum without the risk that spectators will be so eager to see the Olympics that they forget about downloading the song. Does this make sense to anyone else?

Yes. Maybe it will be used in the closing ceremony. I don't know, but i think this whole Olympics connection to Incredible was strange from the very start. The way it was announced, It wasn't really announced. It was brought up so casually without any detail and then brushed aside.

 

All that was said was, "I heard your song might be part of the Olympics and Celine said, "Yes I'm very excited". Nothing more was said after that, know details about it whatsoever, like she didn't even know about it until the interviewer mentioned it.

 

It was like Celine and Neyo were hearing this news for the first time and didn't know what to say. It was very strange how it was so casually mentioned and then brushed aside so quickly without any details.

 

The fans were just left confused and not knowing what was going on, which seems to be a recurring pattern these days. I hope this music video will see the light of day, but who knows.

Maybe I'm getting confused or you are getting confused.... I think it never was said the song would be in the Olympics... Not in any ceremony... What I understood is that NBC was using this song for the olympics in his channel, what I guess it is that they would use it as soundtrack for promos and advertising, video compilations etc... more or less like a "jingle" for the channel related to the olympics... Here at least (in spain) it is very common to use a famous song to make video compilations of championships, tv series, etc... for example, they were using in one channel lana del Rey "Young and Beautiful" to make advertising of one national tv series...
