I have 2 theories: - The Olympic committee is waiting for Céline's team to "give them something amazing", that would be the music video, before they give them full approval. - They have a north american deal with the Network that will be broadcasting the Olympics so that the song will be used on the commercials, promos, etc. So it's not officially an "Olympic" song but it would still get a lot of attention. It would mean being playful and enjoying each others company in a sea of blankets so to speak. That is how I imagine Celine to be, laughing, giggleing, playful... I hope everyone gets to have that kind of time together with someone. It does seem suspicious/interesting that they're suddenly shooting this music video. Part of me believes that they're just doing it because they wanted to do it and they feel the song deserves it. (I'm sure RC loving Ne-Yo helps Celine get inspired to even want to shoot another video). But I think it makes the most sense that they're doing this to really push the song for the Olympics. Regardless -- it's further exposure for the song and the ALBUM! And for Celine's legacy. Once the video is released -- we need to really GET IT OUT THERE! It's a good sign that they were able to get a slot on GMA for the shooting of the video -- and hopefully GMA will follow-up with real clips/or the entire video once it's completed. 9 Quote
