"Unfinished Songs" - Theme song from the movie "Song for Marion"

I don't care for the song "Crazy 'bout You", nor do I hear any similarities to Unfinished Songs.

I greatly disagree on their similarities. Celine's song was made from scratch, not a overwritten parts like that Jessie J. Unfinished songs sounds like a true pop song, but it's a pop song of it's own, independent. Something rare in '12 and '13s music.

Unfinished Songs sounds exactly like old pop songs from end of 90's begginin of 2000's. This one from Jessie J, has a better beat but a very, very ordinary and forggetable chorus.

it is indeed great news that the new album will contain only original songs, even though releasing it way way too late ( and I would not be surprised if they announce later that they postpone the release until christmas - for the sales;-)

But then give us something to long for, give us the single Unfinished Songs. They just miss money this way. Celine Fans and other people hear this great song and they think, hey i want to buy it... and then they come in the musicstore or try to find the song on the internet... and nothing.. there is no way you can buy this song! missed chance

Well, I guess my definition of "HQ" is that it's a better quality than anything else we've heard. You can clearly hear every string and beat.

 

I wonder if Sony are now playing with the idea of a release - if only on iTunes or something. That surely can't cost that much. It would seem strange to push the song out to radio stations otherwise.

I don't think this a HQ version that was released by Sony. I think the found a decent quality version of it like we did on the internet somewhere.

Wow, I actually like the song itself better hearing it in high quality like that. Her voice even sounds better. I think this could be a single, really. It's so uplifting and happy. And her voice is so much better than in the TC era.

i hate the song so much ...very much....when it was played from cinema recording, sounded awful.......and it grow on me when the better quality available in this wonderful forum and guess what......i completely fell in love with this song when i heard the HQ but not CD quality.......sounded phenomenal........cant wait for this song to be out.........thumbs up again for Celine......

Jessie's song has exactly the same building as Celine's. The beat is not better, it's the same but in Jessie's there are 2 layers which might sound like the song has a better production. Whow! The chorus have both the same melody and Jessie tries to be "cooler" with her "crazy, crazy, crazy".

 

That's in fact ONE (cheap) song, not two. Diane changed some minor loops here and there and speeded it up a bit for Jessie.

 

They have the same dated and sole basic(s).

 

But at the end of the day, Celine's song is better because of her voice. Jessie's timbre is quite blend and interchangeable with any other karaoke female singer.
