"Unfinished Songs" - Theme song from the movie "Song for Marion"

Unfinished Songs keeps growing on me.

I wish Sony would at least post a HQ version even if the song isn't officially released as a single.

It would at least slowly promote the new album... That song HAS to be on the new album.

 

I have asked if sony/celinedion.com would atleast let us hear even a snippet of it in hq, so heres hoping

When I first listened to the preview I didn't care for the song, but right now (after 2 listens) I really like it and I can actually remember the chorus (something that I am not good at) despite the fact that she doesn't repeat it many times. The vocals are amazing and I find the lyrics to be among the best ones she has ever sung for an anglophone mid/up-tempo song. Just compare this with the silly, superficial lyrics of ''Real Emotion'', ''Loving Proof'', ''No Living Without Loving You'', ''Super Love'' etc. The melody sounds somewhat dated but it still fits the film and I'm sure the song could be an Adult Contemporaty hit. I could see it being released as the 3rd or 4th single of the album, but since the film is being released before the album, it could be a fairly decent buzz single, something like ''When I Fall In Love''. What is the point of releasing the song in a movie only for the audience in the UK??? If it's available in UK movie theatres than it should be available for all the fans everywhere!

The movie is going to be released in other countries, just at later dates. It comes to theaters in the US in June I believe. This is common, but usually its the US who gets movies first and by the time they are released on DVD here, the UK then gets them in theaters. Its a weird set-up but I think the reason that they got this movie first is cause it is a UK film, although I'm not sure.

In my opinion, I did not like the music, the lyrics are catchy, the melody does not match more, I dunno, I found the music too weak to be released as a single and even gain market share an Oscar, I think if they release this song as single will not do, I did not like this song, listen to it the more I found it strange, is not a song for céline, not commercial, no particular thought.

I really think the judgments are WAY too strong for such a low quality file. I mean, I like the song and all, but I can't really judge it's production value based off of this clip. Some of you must have some super sonic ears that nobody else has to be able to say how horribly the song is produced etc. Get a grip.

Boring song, sounds like a left over from A New Day Has Come and One Heart. In fact it is so boring it sounds like a left over from ANDHC that they considered using for One Heart but decided to use songs from ANDHC.

ANDHC was the last really successful abum and I wouldn't mind having another album like this! I'm surprised that so many of you are negative.

I think in HQ it'll be awesome. I wish we got it like NOW!

I don't know yet if I like the song, becuse I can't really judge it because of the bad quality. However, the chorus is definilety catchy, it stayed in my head and I've noticed I've been singing it while I was vacuuming.

Yeah I didn't realize it when I listened to Céline's version.. but when I did my cover I actually found that the "hey hey" was the catchiest part of the chorus..

Maybe a catchy Celine song like this is just what she needs, granted it may not be the best song in the world, like some of you are saying, but the fact it is catchy is rather important. For instance, if they were to release it to the radio as a single, people may hear and be like "ehh its ok" but then find themselves singing it as they go about their day. Then they may request to hear it again on the radio, buy it on iTunes, ect.

Main reason why teens can't listen to Celine is because its simply too slowly growin' on them. It took me 8 months for me to love Forget me not for example
