I like the late 60's/early 70's feel of that song. Something about DKL just screams throwback. I love it and Celine's voice is just amazing. Yes! Especially the "lying" part.

yes yes yes.."lying" part is totally retro and new approach done in Celine style that makes it freaking awesome ~ I would say this is a major change in her style. I love where her voice is going soo far with this album too. I love the many tricks that she had with her voice. Btw-I don't give a dang if people don't like that raspy tone. I LOVE IT!!! I think it makes her sound different. I love when you listen to a song and you think "wow was that Celine"? I luv it!

Celine is human and she ages too and with the hectic schedule and concerts, of course her voice will change, but you know what - listen to "somebody loves somebody", or "Water and a flame" or "incredible"...she sounds absolutely stunning, even better than she did in TC album!!!

I agree! But I think we should give a little lease to Celine here considering she can sometimes say something else while meaning a completely different thing. I would attribute that to language barrier. But I know she means no harm considering she has come out in support of the gays multiple times :yes:

 

The way that Celine worded the part about a gay doctor didn't confuse me at all. I knew exactly what she meant. I don't think she did any harm by the way she verbalized this.

I must admit I Didn't Know Love has swept me off my feet.

 

Hearing the first clip of her in studio singing the refrain way back I cringed. I thought "oh no not just another cheap sappy banal love ballad we've heard way too many times since her 2000 hiatus which can never come close to those of her 90ies days". But hearing it in full, in its context that cheap sappy refrain turned into something naive (in a good way) and honest. And not to mention the verses (production, arrangements and vocal achievements) right from the intro the verse scream HIGH QUALITY. This tune surprised me. And from all I've heard from the album so far (Incredible, WAAF, SLS, LMBTL) this track certainly stands out by far. I can easily see this being included in some TV series.

I have good news everyone - Loved Me Back To Life will be streamed in its entirety on the internet THIS MONDAY 28/10!

 

Two websites - one in Greek and one in Italian will feature the exclusive full length album - perhaps this will happen on celinedion.com too!

I don't understand why the red heads are doing this these days. Writing sentences with a hidden meaning. Setting a countdown without saying what it is about It seems to me that they've crossed the line from "group of fans" to "official source of information that plays with the fans' nerves"...

Sure, however, on a certain level, saying out of nowhere you don't mind people 'being' gay, you actually mean the opposite.

 

Like some relatives after my coming-out (surely people can relate to this situation) saying out of nothing, sometimes years after, over and over again: 'we don't mind you are being gay, we have no problems with that'. However, if you are so ok with it, if it's so 'normative', don't even mention it.

Than it should be beyond mentioning.. like you don't mention your own son is straight, and you are 'so ok' with that too.

 

I agree but I don't think this is random at all. There is proven systematic discrimination against gay doctors, so it makes sense for Celine to reference it.

 

Actually, Celine has supported not only gay marriage but also gay adoption in a French magazine last year, and she is featured in another gay magazine this coming month (I think it's the Gay Times), I saw her name on the mag cover on ONTD.

 

I hope this isn't inflammatory but did anyone else get the feeling that Michel might be a "lifelong bachelor"?

Celine is skinny and kinda tiny than most women but with no offence meant, I really am intrigued to see how tiny Jenny is :surprise:
