Im not that in love with Incredible at all - theres something with Celines vocals that i really don't like - and i don't like the two voices together either - ooooooooh the excitement has gone from that song hahahaha though do agree it is a radio friendly track.

 

Didn't know love - i adore but it is missing some of her gutsy notes - scrap that its not missing those notes, i think she just needed to take the song up a tiny bit, her vocals feel weird as well - this bedroom voice is crap - sorry!!!

come on, there's many many styles of voice in her bag, angry voice, gentle voice, positive voice, attitude voice, jazz voice, gospel voice....she just uses them according to the songs. for example, she has to use her gentle voice to sing miracle, instead of angry voice, thats for think twice. and for DKL i think she uses fragile voice perfectly, of course crystal voice might fit, too, but fragile voice is closer to the message the song is sending. her voice is like an amazing instrument, it fits every kind of music well, and i think thats why there are people who hate her so much, because they think she lacks personality and is simply mimicing without going anywhere deeper. in fact, i kinda think so, too. but so what? everyone's got weakness, and hers happens to be having the most versatile/flexible voice on the planet!!! she's like a machine when it comes to singing, when she records a song, she choose form the genre column to decide whether shes going to do it the jazz way or r&b way or country way, then she choose the type of emotions and techniques to use in this song. finally, she put her heart in it!! :giggle:

Agreed for incredible. Although sometimes I think she overdoes the "screaming", I was hoping for one last powerful riff at the end of DKL. Still like the song a lot regardless. The frog, bedroom, whatever you wanna call it works better here than WAAF

Me too... i may belong to the minority.. but Incredible for me is a bit plain.. and Celine doesn't have much room to play with her voice... and pretty much we get the oldy style celine voice. Also, the structure of the song is a bit boring. Not a fan.

 

Unlike in WAAF and DKL... she shines... and its a different sound for her this time.

 

But still I believe all the full songs that we have... all 5 of them, lmbtl, sls, incredible, waaf, dkl are all very strong tracks which all could become potential singles.. plus the qmazing breakaway!

 

Imagine sony eventually releasing 6 singles from the album!

i must admit that i do feel like Celines voice has lost its emotion for me - something is missing, it just dosent have what it had through the 90s - of course that couldn't last - but even in her albums up till TC and even SA her voice still had that feeling of emotion within now it just slightly feels FLAT - like she needs a shock to wake her up form that frigging coma that Daniel Merrifeather smacked her into - don't get me wrong i do like the new stuff - its just missing something

I like the idea of the songs being leaked "privately" and only "among fans".... that way, this would not realy hurt actual sales... because we fans are still likely to buy the album anyway.

 

As opposed to "mass leaks" via youtube etc... in which non fàns can listen too and eventually affect sales...

 

So may this serve as an appeal to those who have the songs... please dont post them publicly... just send them privately to "certified" fans haha...

I am sorry to say is I LOVE her 'granny' voice,it is not overwhelmed.Modern and fresh

 

1) Loved me back to life Great song which fits Celine's voice very well,I love it 9/10

2)Somebody loves somebody Modern,it reminds me of One heart era ,but not my cup of tea actually 7/10

3)Incredible Annoying song to me,it reminds me of Scream and shout...the 'Incredible' word is haunting me,lol,but still a great song which is radio-friendly 8/10

4)Water and a flame the classic Celine voice+ a modern celine voice= 2013,like it very much,the intro of the song is very good,better tthan original 9/10

5) Didn't know love Best song among them...but celine;s voice is a little bit of overwhelmed with her 'granny voice' for this song,just a little bit,I personally like it very much 9.5/10

Fans see no problem downloading and spreading these song because they are going to buy the album. But think of all of those here that will not buy ths album. Not everyone on the forum is a die hard fan. Nothing is private anymore.

 

The very artist people love and cherish here is the victim. People will *CENSORED* and moan about album sales and how the industry has changed, not realizing that they play a role in it.

and the one reason why incrdible stands out is because of the message it sends. its so pure and positive, and look at the music around us now, they are all comapring who dares to be more nastier. of who dares to use more cursing words in the lyrics. the melody and spirit of this song is so bright. but i know most of the people would't appreciate it, they just want excitment, they just want music arouses them sexually. did you guys see rihanna's latest video for pour it up? i cant find any word to describe it. and the message it sends...just cant stand it.

The release date may be November 5th where I live but I know I will get to listen to ALL the songs before then.

 

The day I will have all songs on my IPhone will be the 5th, legally and paid for. But until then I figure why can't I have fun. I'm a spoiler for surprises and a glutton for Celine. Those two things together will give me a time advantage but nothing else.

 

It won't matter whether you hear it before or after, the LOVED ME BACK TO LIFE experience will get us all. We will all play the crap out of these songs and hopefully most of us will be thankful for the new music that has come our way after 6 years of waiting.

 

As a die hard Tina Turner fan 6 years is nothing. It's been 14 years since her last studio album.

 

Welcome back Celine, you sound awesome.

Just dont leak the song outside this forum. I am not afraid if they leaked in this forum because who are the people here? Celine fans that care. We will try our best to put her to number 1 or at least number 2 in Billboard. She definitely cannot outsell Eminem.

Out of the three new songs (Incredible, Didn't know love, Water and the flame), I loved "water and the flame" the best.

 

Previously, I wasn't that excited about WATF, but I think the bridge really did save it, and give it that edge which I enjoyed very much.

 

As for Incredible, I did like the snippet very much, and found that "oh oh oh" very catchy, and I thought this would be my Top 2 or Top 3 favourite song of the album. But after listening to the song in full-length, I found the "oh oh oh" a bit annoying, as it repeats throughout the entire song. A bit too much for me. But agree with what others say, the lyrics is soooo olympic! Or even for American Idol, X-factor...etc.

 

Didn't Know Love: i don't hate it, and I don't love it.

I really love all three. Incredible is amazing, "Didn't Know Love" too. Water and a Flame is okay, maybe it'll grow on me. Really glad that LMBTL was changed to the title track though. Edited by CelineVT
