I sincerely doubt anyone with any sense will listen to this and assume her voice is wrecked. Because it sounds like she's forcing the croakiness (on WAAF). Her tone on the chorus is too clear.

i must admit that i do feel like Celines voice has lost its emotion for me - something is missing, it just dosent have what it had through the 90s - of course that couldn't last - but even in her albums up till TC and even SA her voice still had that feeling of emotion within now it just slightly feels FLAT - like she needs a shock to wake her up form that frigging coma that Daniel Merrifeather smacked her into - don't get me wrong i do like the new stuff - its just missing something

Didn't Know Love - in 2012, I predicted 2 songs from Sans attendre would rank inside my all-time favourite Céline songs list. And they did - I still love them. I have that same feeling with this, something just clicks with me. When I first heard this, it made me teary. Its simply GOLD. Utterly adore this. When she sings "I was lying, lying, lyyyying" - slays my heart.

 

Water and a Flame - now that I've heard the full song, I love it. Its amazing. That bridge is >>>

 

Incredible - its incredible.

 

I couldn't agree more. Especially about Didn't know love - same reaction here ;-) WOW!

Yes, remember the LMBTL giant Mouse Trap is designed to squash your pretentions of listening to the snippets or whatever there is before the album release. Come close to it and it will SNAP you! I just decided to give it a twist, so you can order it to play Mariah, Myley, or whomever artist you consider punishment when it does capture you. :laugh:

Incredible is Incredible...

 

As I like Didn't know love , a tiny winy bit more now that I have heard it in Full, still not impressed.

Water and A Flame is boring but the bridge is nice!!! and I didn't expect it!

 

I think ALL of the songs would have been AMAZING if she would only use the style of singing crystal clear like "Incredible" is instead of the "granny smoker voice"
