This album has some very nice gems on it. I learned to appreciatie this album and it is a Nice sequal of ANDHC.

How I'd love to get all this OH tracks on a deluxe 2 CD set release of ANDHC

Will some daring journalist ever ask her if she really recorded these songs for this album? Nahhh, I guess it's better to keep it short with the kids and René and MHWGO probably

I do care :giggle: And I'm sure lots of fans would be curious to know about these things.

I love learning new facts and stories about past albums, same as fans from any other artist... The only problem with Céline is that she barely goes back to tell stories about songs and albums... Well, besides MHWGO recording sessions, which she has told like a dozen of times already :giggle:

Besides, as if this was anything bad or a critic?! Dahhh I guess some are never happy with any posts written on this board, when it's about Vegas because it's about Vegas, when it's because I love an album and I'm looking for more info about it, it's also wrong for them... Anyway... :rolleyes1:

Nope, the CE was released in 2008, six years after the album's original release year.

I'm on a One Heart high these days, with songs like Faith, In His Touch, Stand By Your Sade, Reveal and Naked :wub: Even the easy One Heart song is so fun to listen to.

I'm so glad Céline went on this direction for this album (same as ANDHC). These fresh songs are sooo very much needed in her discography!

we need a remastered version, with all unrelesed demos/ remixes...

They'd better release a 2CD set of ANDHC then, and give us the damn English version of L'amour existe encore and Spanish version of HYEBIL in it!

Or better say a 3/4CD set with all the demos/remixes you want, because several of those for ANDHC are up to 10 minutes long... :giggle:

I guess an ultimate CD/DVD edition containing all the material from the ANDHC/OH era could be something like this:

I'd pick an unreleased picture from the same photoshoot as the A New Day Has Come front cover. It would be quite epic for us to see an alternate photo from that shooting.

Title

I think Hush, now... could be a good name for such a package. Like "Silence, you're about to listen to something big now".

It could be a 3CD+DVD set on the same style as the deluxe editions of the On Ne Change Pas, D'elles & Sans Attendre albums.

They should release all the unreleased songs of céline. They should not waste céline's vocals for that. Imagine how many takes she did that song to make it perfect but never released

Unfortunately that version is not online. It's actually the very same as the ANDHC version but with a few extra seconds of Celine's vocals at the end, quite something ^_^ . But yeah, you'll have to buy that CD to enjoy it. I highly recommend it by the way, there're also some slightly different versions of The Power Of Love and All By Myself, not to mention that it's the only CD that features If I Can Dream.

And don't forget the studio version of I Have To Dream, recorded sometime in 2002 :blush: :blush: :blush: . I would have died to see that song included as a bonus track in the 2002 special edition of ANDHC, it would have fitted in the album like the ring in one's finger!

So, we actually have to dream that someone prepares this package some day! The definitive A New Day Has Come complete recordings ^_^

Yeah, though from all the songs we're talking about, one for sure we can say it was NOT recorded in 2002 and in the same sessions: I Drove All Night.

I just realized that they released as second single off the album a song that was on the previous album 😂

=> straight top 3 of the dumbest Sony moves in Céline's career.

And I bet there is no another silly decisions such this one in the whole music industry IF a single is meant to help the sales of the album it is from.

You realize about this... 15 years later? LOL Yeah, there was someone pushing too hard for Celine to flop and go unnoticed everywhere in radios since 2003 with her music and any single releases from then and on :rolleyes:

It was stupid to release in 2003 a song that was already included in her previous album, but more stupid was that they had a Spanish version ready to promote the song also in the Latin/Spanish-speaking market and they decided to keep it for them lol

And this nonsensical decision is another reason why I believe they didn’t record an album in 2003 at all, only the lead single. They only packaged a “new” album to fulfill Chrysler’s commercials for their sponsorship with Vegas and to capitalize on the premiere of her Vegas show...

The only good thing that brought this single is the videoclip (I think it’s beautiful and I love the concept), same as with GTSW. But other than that... Both killed Celine’s way through radios and consequently the album’s promotional life.

I never really liked HYEBIL tbh, so having it on both albums and being released twice, for me it was a bit 😏😕😒😬😖
