Btw... I was thinking wouldn't it be amazing if Céline recorded MHWGO stripped down with maybe only Mego and the

piano in one live take and then release it on April 15th on her site or on youtube, as a tribute to all the victims of Titanic!

Great idea Davey, it would be a lovely tribute, very simple and tasteful.

 

Today was the 100th anniversary of the Titanic's arrival here in Cobh (formerly Queenstown) , Co. Cork, Ireland. It's final stop before venturing out to meet it's fate. There was a National Tribute led by the President and a lot of events are taking place here all week and throughout the year. I took this video and some photo's:

The scene of the boat sailing, after Jack proclaims he is king of the world, still looks comically fake, (as it always did) but everything else stands up very well.

Noooo!!! That was my favourite scene back during my Titanic days!

On another note, I dusted off and played my MHWGO the remixes single, and it came to me..... Why on earth weren't there any new remixes made?! I'm Alive got two new remixes, 1 6 yrs and 1 8 yrs after t's release! The old ones are great, but a bit dated! New cool remixes would have taken the song back to the dance floor again! Another epic fail by Sony

But you're right, a new CD single with the original version + some updated remixes would have given the song a fresh boost today.

 

However, what I find most disgusting is that EVERYONE is talking about the Titanic anniversary these days in the news, radio, papers and TV, even MHWGO is playing here and there again, (have you noticed?) but Céline... once more she appears to be speechless when it comes to her music and specially a fact that gave her career an stratospheric recognition worldwide .

 

At least a few words talking about the event?!!

It's not charting Darren. No radio support (hardly surprising given it's a 15 year old song) and lack of physical stock. Don't expect to see MHWGO on the charts this Sunday.

You Know The Titanic 3D Conversion is such a wonder full thing.

But Its so sad that all those 1500 people died of the freezing sea, the lifeboats were launched half full and so many steerage passengers trapped behind the locked gates on Titanic all that was just so sad and how could they do that to the poor. I'd say forget about the rules of classes this is about saving lives saving lives is way more important than classes!

The movie is promoted everywhere and I'm really surprised that not only Celine is absent but also MHWGO isn't used to promote it more (I mean it's in the commercial but for about 10 seconds or sth?). If they wanted, they would surely use it to promote the movie again:(
