The rumour about different versions of "Sans attendre" (standard / deluxe) might as well be true.

Take a look at amazon.fr where there are two different versions of the album listed as the upcoming releases. These have different identification numbers, with different prices each.

 

Could that mean anything?

Johnny Hallyday is a legend and has a very powerful voice. He is more successful than Celine is in France (in fact the most successful french artist in france ever). Singing with him is a good move. Considering both have powerful voices, it could be one hell of a powerful song vocally. Plus to have an actual record with him is something nice.

I've watched Une Chance Qu'On S'A from Sur Les Plains. Believe it or not, but I actually think this is a great song! It has very high quality and I loved it the first time I heard it. The only downside is that it never really lifts. That's something they can do something about production wise with the version for this album, but I doubt they will though.

 

(To Swedish fans: anyone else who find the resemblance in some lines in this song with the melody of the first line in Teddybjörnen Fredriksson? )

That's great news thanks! Also on cd.com, it said that Celine and Jean Piere Ferland recorded there duet aswell. That news was posted before they were supposed to record on the 27th, so i guess they recorded there duet early.

Yay! She recorded the song with Jean-Pierre!!! This is great! It's such a classic, I think Céline was about the only artist from Québec who never recorded that song (I'm barely even exagerating!). I can't wait to hear it!!!!!

@bertrand, many songs are done already and they are being redone in studio. so no, we don't want to move on lol, maybe one day we'll get it recorded.

As much as I adored the duet with Ginette, I have a feeling that they shouldn't release a duet (of Un peu plus haut) on CD since it was such a historic moment. It would probably change the feel of the song, without the crowd, without all the emotion that was on les Plaines that night... It was so special, so unique... I think that changed the way people from Québec saw the song, how they understood it. It's so rare that we have our two most famous female artists (plus that Ginette is Céline's idol), I think it would be best to leave that moment like it was. Unique. it was iconic when it was done true, but celine's vocals were a bit tired and she was crying almost all through the song. can you imagine that amazing ending done in a recording studio where she won't strain cause she was singing for like two hours? it would be heaven.

I listened to Une chance qu'on s'a when Céline and Jean-Pierre did it on les Plaines and I had shivers the whole time! It's like I'm so used to the song that I forget how beautiful it is. I really can't wait to hear their version! I find that Céline is just perfect for it, I find that she really, really passed the emotion well. It's the perfect song for her!
