It's from April 2012, so some of you may've seen it. Unfortunately, it's all in French so I have no idea as to the details of their conversation. Luc Plamondon nous parle du prochain album de Celine Dion Sourcehttp://herby.tv/2012/04/luc-plamondon-nous...de-celine-dion/ Thanks for posting!! I didn't know this video! How close is Luc Plamondon in this video, I didn't know he was that nice this man! Well my french is not very good, but basically this video was recorded at the time when Céline had the virus in her vocal chords during march or april and the Vegas shows were cancelled. The interviewer asks him about the french album and the songs he's writing but he's not allowed to reveal too much info, he just says he is writing songs for her new album but that they're taking it easy and they're not rushing the recording because of Céline's virus. He says that these are the first songs he writes for anybody in 5 years, but it's a little confusing because at first he speaks about "some songs" but in the end of the video he says that "this is the first album that I write an album for Céline" (then they talk about Dion Chante Plamondon and that that album was different because it had only 4 new songs written for her). So it is confusing! I really hope the album has more than 1 song from him (and a full album in the future would be a dream ) I'm also surprised how secretly they've treated both albums, now we already know the lack of information we've had about both the english and french albums through 2012-2012, but this video confirms it, because Plamondon says constantly he cannot give details and that the project is being kept secret and "intimate". Only 4 people know about the songs, Céline, René, Luc and the music composer, about whom he says that "the melodies are very beautiful" Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"

Jeff Abbott Posted August 27, 2012 at 11:19 PM Posted August 27, 2012 at 11:19 PM I've read somewhere that Johnny Hallyday is often called "the French Elvis Presley", so maybe releasing a duet with him could be a smart way to boost sales of Celine's upcoming French album. Who knows? Apparently, French people love him and he's a great icon there. Still love this song Quote
celine-rc Posted August 27, 2012 at 11:20 PM Posted August 27, 2012 at 11:20 PM Johnny is a HUGE star in France. He was been for a very long time and he still is. I'm convinced that it can't hurt her to sing with him. Plus, when she did L'envie with him, that was amazing! It's a classic of his (written by Jean-Jacques Goldman). Alex_Incognito Posted August 27, 2012 at 11:40 PM Posted August 27, 2012 at 11:40 PM (edited) Well, I am thrilled that she's singing with Johnny. I'm not so thrilled that there will be all of these duets on her french Cd. At least they're considering her legacy for her francophone career. My favorite Johnny song is "Quelque chose de Tennessee." It's fantastic. Edited August 27, 2012 at 11:42 PM by Alex_Incognito Quote "People pay 20-25 dollars to see you."- Céline Dion, 1990

If that's true, rejecting a single song written by this man should ashame Céline & René I'm not against of the rest of the songs announced (the second author for whom I'm excited it's JP Ferland), but if Plamondon took the time to deliver 15 songs, Céline should release a full album dedicated to this authorship, just the same as she did with JJ Goldman (and twice!) Every Plamondon song has the potential to become a successful single, including the 4 new songs he wrote for Céline in 1991, and René should know this! pat200 Posted August 28, 2012 at 03:42 AM Posted August 28, 2012 at 03:42 AM Johnny Hallyday is a legend and has a very powerful voice. He is more successful than Celine is in France (in fact the most successful french artist in france ever). Singing with him is a good move. Considering both have powerful voices, it could be one hell of a powerful song vocally. Plus to have an actual record with him is something nice. Quote
ashtonelijah Posted August 28, 2012 at 06:45 AM Posted August 28, 2012 at 06:45 AM Typical. Céline actually plans to go record a duet with a big artist who is still alive, and he's immediately rushed to the hospital. Oh mon dieu. I wouldn't be surprised if they kept some (preferably all) of these songs for later use (maybe Celine's next French album), well, I wish they did.I still remember when in one of the previous interviews (I guess from 2011) Rene recalled listening to the first songs written and submitted by Plamondon, he only had the nicest things to say about these compositions, so these must be really good. Javito Posted August 28, 2012 at 09:13 AM Posted August 28, 2012 at 09:13 AM (edited) Honestly this must be a joke. If Plamondon bothered to write a full album of not least than 15 songs (Céline's standard albums only have 12!!) and René is not considering to release them in a full album he must be definetly idiot and business blind today. Once again, you guys don't know if this RUMOR is true. Alos, Luc Plamandon is NOT God. Not all his song a great....keep this is mind Calm down, find the truth and then complaint Maybe you don't like all of them, but ALL the songs he wrote for Céline were picked as singles, and all of them successful: Incognito, Lolita, and the 4 new songs written for her for the "Dion Chante Plamondon" album were smash hits in Canada: Des mots qui sonnent, Je danse dans ma tête, Quelqu'un que j'aime and L'amour existe encore I find his songs are some of the finest material Céline has in french for her career, the lyrics are much more personal and deep than the Goldman ones. My french is not that good, but he says in this video "it's the first time I write an album for Céline", comparing this work with the previous done in DCP because there he only wrote 4 new songs to her. What he wants to say with an "album"? A full album? Who knows. And someone mentioned he talks of 15 songs too in the video http://herby.tv/2012/04/luc-plamondon-nous...de-celine-dion/ I need proof...which video (source please)ThanksMerci http://herby.tv/2012/04/luc-plamondon-nous...de-celine-dion/ Edited August 28, 2012 at 09:15 AM by Javito Quote "Hush, now... Not all his song a great....keep this is mind Calm down, find the truth and then complaintSorry, but you cannot have more obvious evidence that this is NOT a rumour. I don't think Plamondon would lie or give us inaccurate information just for the sake of it with some random number of songs. Yes, a lot may have changed since April (when the interview took place) but still it is a fact coming directly from the man himself. We'll have to wait for the final result of their cooperation. By the way, can you imagine Celine's exclusive collaboration with Plamondon, just one on one, with all new compositions? Edited August 28, 2012 at 02:23 PM by Jeff Abbott Quote

Take a look at amazon.fr where there are two different versions of the album listed as the upcoming releases. These have different identification numbers, with different prices each.
