Xpresso Posted September 21, 2012 at 05:40 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 05:40 PM How can you affirm that with only 15 seconds of it? Well, because I LOVE it! Why not Javito? You have said in the past that you "hate" a song even after listening to 15 seconds!! Quote
Ororo Munroe Posted September 21, 2012 at 05:50 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 05:50 PM I guess, it's going to be the second single, the 15s are amazing, it's future hit, so they could send to radios in a near future maybe before the english single in french areas. Quote
Julian Posted September 21, 2012 at 06:05 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 06:05 PM THAT sounds french, i lo ve it Quote

But something similar - perhaps the lyrics? I'm not all that musical, so.... Quote
fred Posted September 21, 2012 at 07:42 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 07:42 PM 14 songs?! Then I guess René was wrong when he said that Céline would perform 15 songs during the show at the Colisée... EDIT: Maybe he also included NMQP AND WHAT ABOUT THE SONG RIEN QUE TOI BY LUC PLAMONDON?!?!?!?!Or why don't you think they'll do like they always like to do: a lot of space in a concert taken up by retroperspective. In her French concert that means most songs are songs from the Goldman albums. Few seconds of a new song written by Jean-Pierre Ferlandhttp://montreal.rougefm.ca/channels/tapisr...aspx?ID=1777681That sounds actually really good! After a few listenings I really like this clip. Have great trust that the rest of this song will be really good. BTW I am a bit sad that Une Chance Qu'On S'A wont be on the standard edition. This is such a nice song, it deserves to be among the tracks on the regular album. /fred Quote Peace and love to all.
pat200 Posted September 21, 2012 at 08:11 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 08:11 PM wowww her voice sounds alot like in the D'eux album...wow wow wow! are you kidding? while her voice is beautiful on this song, it is no where as crystal clear as it was on D'eux. Plus her voice has deepened so much, it is amazing. Quote

Modesta Posted September 21, 2012 at 08:40 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 08:40 PM ^Me too! Though I did enjoy 1F4T very much Mostly I'm waiting for Plamondon's song. Did I read somewhere that Luc wrote a bunch (>10) of songs for celine? perhaps I was just wishing for it Quote

wjd Posted September 21, 2012 at 10:29 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 10:29 PM Omg, the clip of that new song sounds wonderful! I could actually jump in the air with glee, I am SO excited! Quote Céline Dion, music's greatest ever singer, the biggest-selling Canadian artist of all-time and most successful female live act ever - what's not to love?
Javito Posted September 21, 2012 at 10:45 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 10:45 PM Well, because I LOVE it! Why not Javito? You have said in the past that you "hate" a song even after listening to 15 seconds!! I don't think I've ever said that of a Céline Dion song with only a preview of 15 seconds. Unless you're talking about the latest duets she's done like with Michel Sardou's "Voler", which yes, with only a short preview was enough to know the song was terribly bad Quote "Hush, now... I see a light in the sky"
caitlynceline56 Posted September 21, 2012 at 11:22 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 11:22 PM Thanks for the tracklist and the preview of Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour!! I really like the little snippet. I have a feeling the whole song is going to be beautiful! Quote "The measure of love is to love without measure." "When there's music in your life, there's happiness." -Céline ♥
celine-rc Posted September 21, 2012 at 11:22 PM Posted September 21, 2012 at 11:22 PM Yay! She'll be in Mtl! That's great! I saw though that she was going to be here to do stuff for France... Is she going to do anything here ? Quote http://images.lpcdn.ca/435x290/201103/17/305341.jpg Merci Céline pour ces deux soirées inoubliables que j'ai passées à tes côtés. Je ne les oublierais jamais. alexpepin Posted September 22, 2012 at 12:53 AM Posted September 22, 2012 at 12:53 AM I was meaning that its not nasal at all, like in the 1f4t and d'elle her voice was really bad for me. With that snippet i renew with the celine that i love, really simple way to sing. Quote
LukeD Posted September 22, 2012 at 01:16 AM Posted September 22, 2012 at 01:16 AM Finally the tracklist! Thank God we still have Amazon... I'm so excited to have a 14 track french album for the very first time! Really interesting to see what they done... Though I don't like the fact that they decided to open the album with "Parler à mon père" Yeah, of course they had to do it! I don't see this song as an album opener, but in the middle of the tracklist It's OK they wanted to release it as the first single, but also the opening track? No way, there have to be much better songs than this one in the album +1 I don't see PAMP as an opener either. I thought it should be put somewhere in the middle. I'd also prefer a solo track to close the album, not a duet. Quote
LukeD Posted September 22, 2012 at 01:23 AM Posted September 22, 2012 at 01:23 AM Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour sounds so good, somewhat old-fashioned... in a good sense! I couldn't be more excited about this album, I'm sure Celine won't let us down..! Quote
Javito Posted September 22, 2012 at 01:57 AM Posted September 22, 2012 at 01:57 AM (edited) I was meaning that its not nasal at all, like in the 1f4t and d'elle her voice was really bad for me. With that snippet i renew with the celine that i love, really simple way to sing. Wow, in 1f&4T her voice was bad for you? She hadn't even completed her first year in Vegas then! To me, her voice in that album was great and the same it was before she began LV concerts, for example in ANDHC. Still not "contaminated", if you understand what I mean. But with D'elles? You can see her voice sounds tired, sometimes scratchy and struggling to reach the high notes in songs like Femme Comme Chacun And here with this new song, its hard to judge with only 15 seconds, but I don't see much difference to the voice we could hear in D'elles yet. In Taking Chances she improved a lot and I think her voice was much rested and clear than with D'elles, but all in all, her voice has never been the same after 2005-2006. And the nasality has been a good friend of her since then. Maybe she uses it intentionally and maybe its a way to protect her voice, but she uses it too much in that case. I too think she sounds better these days, guess those singing lessons paid off Quote
Der_Griffon Posted September 22, 2012 at 07:56 AM Posted September 22, 2012 at 07:56 AM This little snippet of Je n'ai pas besoin d'amour sounds so great! Her voice is fantastic in it!
