Céline may be a surprise guest at his concerts in Montreal on Oct 4 and 5, so it's safe to assume she will promote the albums and singles in North America around that time. A song called 'La mer et l'enfant', a collaboration with Grand Corps Malade. They will probably perform together in November, when Céline is in Europe.

I'm so glad Celine's collaboration with Nina Bouraoui has finally been confirmed, I guess we'll have a chance to listen to "Celle qui M'a Tout Appris" which was once rumoured (back in 2011) to be part of the album.

Just becuase you are all academical and do it your way doesn't mean we all do! i sourced where i got the information from and that is enough for me, this is supposed to be a relaxed place to come, a fun place, not a place of study. I think it is vital to source the webpage the information came from end of. I think you are being picky. seriously GET A LIFE!

I am not really against it because lots of the songs Céline has covered in the past are much better than the original versions (Alone, River Deep Mountain Hight, All By Myself etc.)...

 

However, I think she should record an album with the concept of just covering songs or having an album with duets only because otherwise she might really be seen as uninspirational and kind of lazy (something that many critics claim for ages)

This is merely an opinion, not a fact. In order to cover a song ''much better'' the singer needs to show originality and trully own the song, not just do a Karaoke version of it, like Celine did with Alone and RDMH. I'm not hating, but it's plain obvious that these covers brought nothing new to the original version, she simply put her voice above the original arrangements. I can understand people liking Celine's version more, since they do love her voice more (me included) but if we want to be 100% honest and unbiased, many of her covers aren't better than the original songs from an objective (musicianship) standpoint.

 

I simply hope she is going to nail these new songs and do her own version like she did with Oxygene, Le Blues Du Businessman, Les Roses Blanches, O Holy Night, Unison, Aun Existe Amor, If Walls Could Talk, When I Need You and so on... These are worth-mentioning efforts and I hope she stays on this path.
