im sorry i just never cared for that song much or bette midler... just my opinion tho, if she decides to sing it im sure i will eventually love it just like every song she sings

The only song i like from bette midler is : I Put a Spell On You from Hocus Pocus. although its a movie song i doubt celine will sing it in her show

yeah, she should rush those big songs, cut them in half. almost impossible for MHWGO, but still be one after the other.

I agree, she said herself im gonna sing a song thats not on radio and not that known, i wish she would do that more often with other Celine songs. I dont even like A song for you but i agree and was happy she took a risk with a different song, i would have choose a different album song but its a step...

I had a really sad, bad and awkward moment with that song recently. I can't listen to it anymore, because it reminds me of that moment. I even deleted the song from my iPod. So, personally, i hope she wont sing it.

i love the idea of voice training because she needs to learn new techniques and stay modern, its a great idea if it takes out her nasal in the voice thats even better. I think it takes a true pro to admit she is taking voice training again, it shows that she still cares about music and wants to do to the best of her ability.

Re. the bold section above: I think it would be really cool if Celine were to do a mix of the two versions. This could be accomplished in the same fashion that Cher performed "We All Sleep Alone" during her "The Farewell Tour." I thought it was really, really cool to see live. I really would like to see Celine do this with one of her songs.

TTWII would be ok,

ANDHC, im kind of over it. It was so huge when it came out. For me its like those kind of popular radio songs that are so good and hot, that after a while you get sick of them.

 

Thats why i like the fact that she doesnt record too much pop songs. like One Heart. I can't stand it.

So, "(Et) Je t'aime encore" was added a few months into the shows run. After a while, "Pour que tu m'aimes encore" was added as a replacement to "(Et) Je t'aime encore." I think one of the following three French songs will be included: "Pour que tu m'aimes encore"; "S'il suffisait d'aimer"; or "Je ne vous oublie pas."

I think it's important that Ce N'etait Qu'Un Reve is performed. She hasn't performed it in over 25 years except for retirement concerts and such. The 20 second rendition she did in the LTAL tour wasn't enough. The only exception is the performance at TCOML concert.

 

This is in some ways the single most important song of Celine's career.

 

I like DUAM, JSP, SSD, Destin, and LEE but we need something more than these songs performed. And definitely something else besides PQTME and J'irai Ou Tu Iras. ESNRQ was a nice change, ONCP at SLP was a nice change, etc...

 

Great songs like Le Ballet (okay, I know it's been performed alot, but not recently and the band intro she did during FIY and D'eux Tour was awesome), Quand On N'a Que L'amour, Des Mots Qui Sonnent, D'abord C'est Quoi L'amour, Delivre Moi, Le Blues Du Businessman, Mon Ami Ma Quitte, D'amour Ou D'amitie, and so many more....they're all overlooked.

 

I guess the same can honestly be said about the English songs, and to a greater extent. The same 6 or so songs are performed non-stop while great songs are overlooked.

 

I know a few years ago Barbra Streisand went on tour to specifically perform songs she had either: never performed before, or rarely performed. Celine could/should do the same thing. A 20 song set where she does this could work.

 

She can, and honestly should, still perform My Heart Will Go On. It is her biggest hit, so this should still be in the show. It could be the opening song though rather than the encore.

2. The Colour Of My Love - Celine's wedding song; this has been so neglected.

3. The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face - Celine's favorite song

4. When I Need You - an incredible song

5. The Reason - a great story behind this song

6. I Don't Want To Miss A Thing - it wouldn't be a Celine concert without a cover. She can do a speech before TR about these two songs and the story behind them

7. Have A Heart - the song that is responsible for starting her English career

8. Unison

9. One Heart

10. Sorry For Love

11. I Want You To Need Me

12. Then You Look At Me

13. I Love You

14. Nothing Broken But My Heart

15. Only One Road

16. Surprise, Surprise

17. Ten Days

18. With This Tear

19. Le Blues Du Businessman

20. Ce N'etait Qu'un Reve

 

Not in this order, but definitely these songs. Some can be swapped out for a few others. Either way, it will never happen, but it'd be nice if even 1 of these songs got some recognition during this movie themed show.
