JessCC Posted February 3, 2010 at 03:33 AM Posted February 3, 2010 at 03:33 AM I'm pretty sure they'll find some way to compensate.... Judging from the other pics, Miley and Pink got solos too? I can stand Pink (especially after her AMAZING Grammy performance ) but Miley? Quote

Celine=Love Posted February 3, 2010 at 05:57 AM Posted February 3, 2010 at 05:57 AM I guess I'm going to be the only opposition voice to this but here goes: I am sorely disappointed in Celine right now. I love her for her kindness, her loving heart, her generosity for those in terrible times, but to associate herself with such slime as Lionel Ritchie and Lil Wayne, for a recording that would only desecrate the memory of one of her idols? Lionel Ritchie made a FOOL of himself at the Grammies in the eyes of Michael Jackson fans that know his history. Apparently Lionel's cut of the original song's royalties got caught up in some chicanery of the shady members of Michael financial team, and now that Michael's dead, he's trying to get back on the gravy train. Lil Wayne? Who's idea was to invite this piece of filth that openly mocked MJ as a homosexual? Not only that. Michael Jackson wrote We Are The World for a purpose - the starving in Africa. Yet again, anyone that has an understanding of what Michael Jackson was all about would KNOW that MJ would've written a new song for Haiti. Now we have Quincy Jones on record as making some ridiculous statement that Michael didn't want to be black. I have a hard time believing that Celine has been sheltered so completely from all this garbage. I have a hard time believing that she could be so blind as to not see that Michael's vision of this song doesn't apply here. I have a hard time that Rene couldn't see this and would allow Celine to sully herself this way. I hate Sony and AEG. Their executives are the scum of the earth, and I keep wondering how long it will be before they wind up destroying Celine as well. I detest that Celine is contracted with them, and I pray to the good Lord every day that Rene or Celine will see the light someday soon and find credible people to deal with, before almost 30 years in the industry is a tarnished memory. celínico_sin_remedio Posted February 3, 2010 at 06:43 AM Posted February 3, 2010 at 06:43 AM I'm so happy now that Céline's everywhere I could actually cry. She is a sweetheart, and is the best singer in the world indeed. I agree with TMZ on that last one. Of course now the centre of attention and main point is helping Haiti... so where will be able to get the song from? I guess iTunes... but if this is released as a single I want to actually buy it, phisically. Wouldn't it be fantabulous? And I hope that part showing on YT is NOT the final cut, 'cos I agree with some of you that she sounded a bit like her voice was about to crash at one point, we know she can do it better! CynthiaTDL Posted February 3, 2010 at 08:05 AM Posted February 3, 2010 at 08:05 AM That's wonderful! It's great that Celine's getting involved again. 2010 is shaping up to be one heck of a year! Just one thing, are there any other sources for this news? I am the type of person that values reputable sources. I'm not saying that she isn't participating in this, but judging from the source (which is an online column), I would just rather have an article that can be a bit more reliable. Hopefully she is participating though! Go to Wire Images they have all the photos Quote CynthiaTDL

Davey84 Posted February 3, 2010 at 10:51 AM Posted February 3, 2010 at 10:51 AM on another dutch newssite: Single We Are The World opgenomen Uitgegeven: 2 februari 2010 17:05 Laatst gewijzigd: 2 februari 2010 17:04 http://media.nu.nl/m/m1dz271aak7d.jpgAMSTERDAM - Meer dan 75 grote sterren verzamelden zich maandag in Hollywood om de benefietsingle We Are The World voor Haïti op te nemen.
