I just can't imagine how Celine & Rene must've felt back in August - to be told they were pregnant and just 10 days later to be told they were not!! The emotional and physical pain they must've went through!! The doctor was too optimistic and should have waited until it was a sure thing before announcing it to them. From the bottom of my heart, I am wishing Celine & Rene (and also all those couples out there having a hard time conceiving) the very best of luck in trying again for another child. It's a superstitious day for many (especially those who are superstitious in nature, like Céline - superstition covers many things). I wasn't trying to imply that it would force her to move the date but simply making a comment on Céline. And from what I know about IVF, no, they don't really have much of a choice as to what the date would be so you're right about that. It's done at a specific time in order to ensure the best results. My Great-Grandmother wouldn't even leave the house, but that was because one time her Daughter died on a Friday the 13th. (Personally, I think it was probably just a coincidence.) That's cool, comments are good! From the reading I've done, it has to do with the endometrial layer in a woman's uterus. That's the stuff that builds up as the month goes on and eventually comes out when a woman has her period...it's also the stuff the embryo needs to implant in, to create a pregnancy. But if it's too thick, or not thick enough, implantation is less likely to work. Just if anyone cares lol. Otherwise ignore my fascination with this stuff. Quote
