According to Celine's official website from Portugal, she's spent this weekend in New York trying to get pregnant for the final time. She'll say good-bye to this dream if she doesn't get it this weekend.

 

I really hope she gets pregnant!!!! I love her so much and I hope she gets pregnant because that's one of her dreams!

as we heard on Michel Jasmin she got some kind of cold as some of you think and maybe they postponed it? As she wasn't spotted in NY and the decision about Grammys wouldn't be known so soon, she would decide on doing this just before the show and as it's so ahead maybe she wants to pay this tribute, maybe show up at the olympics and try later?

All in all, if she has really tried recently I keep my fingers crossed as everyday:)

After so many tries I think they know the likelyhood of the IVF working is less and less. They are being realistic.

Plus, it is hard on you physically and emotionally, so I don't think you can just keep on doing it forever.

My friend who went through this 3 times last year has quit because it was so difficult and expensive for "normal" people.

She also said that statistics say that 5 times should be enough. If you don't become pregnant after 5th time then it's not likely you will at all

About the fifth attempt being the last, that was written in articles previous to the interview with Michel Jasmin(a Michel Jasmin quote if I recall it well). I can assure you Céline never said it would be "the last time" in that interview. He asked her where they were in all that process. So she talked about the first attempt that worked for a little while....she said they tried four times(up to now) and that they were going for a fifth time and so hoping it would be THE one. That's all that was said in the interview, no official mention of it being a last time. So either she told Michel about it off the air and that's why he was quoted for saying it or Michel came himself to this conclusion.....or, who knows why.

 

My guess is either she didn't go yet(cold or something else) and she'll go after the Grammys or she did go and it didn't work unfortunately. But I'm pretty sure if she postponed it, it has nothing to do with trying to work around showbusiness commitments. I really don't think she would do that, it would be more the other way around. She agreed to do the Grammy performance because it fitted with what she had planned at this moment (IVF process, her personnal life), which is her first priority right now during this break. Anyway it's my two cent.
