i thought there was only 1 embryo that she was going to have implanted when they were ready???? so if this is the embryo and it hasn't taken, then where are other embryos? are they harvesting more from rene?

 

 

That was my question earlier. 1) Did they get more eggs from Celine? 2) Was sperm from Rene considered "ok" since it has been several years since his last treatment? I'd heard that cancer patients should wait at least five years before trying to conceive.

Please, no one get me wrong, but I hope this sad event would give her a push to be as professional as she was in the 90s... some artists became legends from sad moments that passed in their lives.

That's why most women do not announce their pregnancy until after the 3rd month. I thought it was really strange to announce the pregnancy after the first week!!! Hope the third time works and they keep it private for a while. Not always a good thing to be an "open book".

IVF isnt a one hit wonder.... most ppl have to take a few tries before they finally "take home" a baby... ie. take home rate is lower than the successful impregnation rate.

 

She was lucky with RC, and i think she is older now and cannot expect that sort of results and i'm sure her Dr told her about this... and that is why they are determined to try again...

 

the only issue is that i'm wondering that if she did have a miscarriage, cos it has been almost 2moths since we fist found out... ie. at least 9 weeks gestation.. 'tis a miscarriage. Being no OBGYN, i know that the uterus does need a cool off time of about 9 weeks before she should try again (for normal ppl at least)... its all happened very fast... but then again our timeline isnt really exact...

They went back to New York a couple of years ago and made more embryos. They mentioned it once in a French interview...I eventually found it again and posted the link in another thread, I'll copy and paste:

It says that at the beginning to 2007, when everyone thought they were on Vacation, they went to New York for a month. Celine had hormone injections, ultrasounds, and then eggs taken out and mixed with sperm to fertilize them.

I don't want to sound selfish but having another child is = remaking a horrible Celine Dion Loose Talent era in LV. I mean she's Fourty. I talked to my mum about Celine's miscarriage and she replied to me that when she was 27 (my mum) she went to the doctor and the dr. said to her that she was too old to conceive!! Miracles do happen... and I hope the best for Celine; but at least can she still manage her so-called-career in these few yrs? If she's going back to vegas she's going once again out of the lime light which is sad for her career-wise.

Children are such a blessing, and yes she is blessed with RC, but it would be some awesome for her to have a little Celine Then she can come back with more to sing and talk about! Why don't they ever pronounce Rene's last name right? As many times as it has been spoken and pronounced properly, you would think they would have it by now! (The host in the first video mispronounced his name)
