Wrong thread??

I'm confused - why was this in the wrong thread? The original post listed several versions of Do You Hear What I Hear, saying that Bing Crosby made it famous, and then linked to Celine's version. I was just adding Whitney's version, which I think is even more famous than Bing Crosby's (every year, I hear Whitney's played over and over on the radio; rarely hear the others).

Well, I try to post in general only the original and Celine's version. In some exceptional cases, f.ex. if a cover became a real worldwide superhit or signature song as it was with "Do you Hear", which became a major hit of Bing Crosby all over the world at that time, I post other versions too. Sorry to say, but Whitney's version was just one version of very many. In Europe, f.ex. Whitney's version isn't very common.

No hard feelings! :flowers:

"Hidden Love"

Tell me where are they?

The beautiful moments we shared

Tell me where are you?

Tell me if you remember that!

I wish someone would tell me that

what a loneliness... I'm here alone thinking of it

About all I left behind

About all it happened

In this hidden love

I know what it means to have someone

I'm a shadow on the face

and then nobody knows

Maybe I am who I'll be

Stars bright in the sky if you smile

and then they leave it if you cry

I got no pain anymore

You know it

It's all fine now

In this love

you wanna hide yourself

Many years for

this world and many to come

If I may

and If I were patient enough

That's the way we are

We fall in love till we cry

There's nothing and no one

I could wish more than you

Sorry for not writing you anymore

But You know I went there not for dying

I always do something

And I can't get enough of it

About all I left behind

About all it happened

In this hidden love

Stars bright in the sky if you smile

and then they leave it if you cry

I got no pain anymore

You know it

it's all fine now

in this love

you wanna hide yourself...
