It's hard to say because we don't get mail on sat-sundays (unless it's been paid extra for, which is rare), but if you count out the days it was in the post office I'd guess it took 4 days.

Thanx.Can you tell me how much time was needed to ship the item and did you receive the mail for cuz they say they send it?You couldn't choose kiala post neither,it's for Belgium and Netherlands only,right?Bad cuz if sth happens,no refund of money,so is not safe somehow.

having the book in French is not a problem at all! As for me who cannot speak or understand French a word!

And indeed, the preface from Celine and Gerard is in French but that is not that much of a problem. The rest of the book

is completely full with pictures, a little text. When you read the text you immediately see what they are talking about, because the pictures

say enough. And there are some words that really sound familiar to me so I won't go for the English version..unless you want to wait a long time...

I did get an email, but a day later. Can't say when it was shipped. It was cheap and it was fast, that's all I know and care about

Oh nice.Thank you.But i think is the same because when i go to the proxis.nl and when i put the english translation it goes to proxis.be(i made mistake,not de,but be).Weird ,but is only important that it delivers soon.I saw,absolutely cheaper than amazon.fr.How many days it took to come to you?

Yes it's the same...it's a Belgian company by origin, but they also have a Dutch (.nl) and a French (.fr) site.

It's quite safe, easy, cheap and fast..... so you can definately order it

I just got mine in the mail....but it is damaged so bad, all the corners are ripped up! I am so upset! I wanted to give one as a gift soon (I ordered 2) and both are just ripped up so badly. And I don't understand French to figure out how to fix it! Can someone help???

That's just terrible! Maybe you can download google translation toolbar which translates the whole amazon.fr websitepage automatically to english. I would have posted the information here if it wasn't that much. If that doesn't work or you don't want to download it, you can send me a personal message and I can send you the translations of the specific pages.

Edit: I don't think that the information from amazon.fr is really different from the english sites though

I just got mine in the mail....but it is damaged so bad, all the corners are ripped up! I am so upset! I wanted to give one as a gift soon (I ordered 2) and both are just ripped up so badly. And I don't understand French to figure out how to fix it! Can someone help??? I don't speak French and I ordered it from amazon.fr. can I use the English site to file a claim?

You would think they would have better forms of packing when it is being sent further afield. That's the same package mine came in from Amazon.fr, but they only had to send it to the UK. I would email amazon.com and send them the photos ...

Unless you know someone who knows enough French to write the problem in an email to amazon.fr?

:shocking: That's something I expect from the Celine Boutique, not from Amazon. I think I'm going to order from Amazon Canada instead.

yeah i think it came over in a kayak. Pretty sure. Every single corner was sticking out of the box frayed and there were scratches in the cover and bindings. And there was definitely only a wide piece of tape holding one side of the box together. I don't see how anyone could leave that on someone's doorstep with a good conscience!

Finally figured out what I need to do to get it sent back! Thank you guys for your help and advice, and for offering to translate. I may still take you up on that someday I really need to learn French and this wouldn't be a problem haha! I'm returning these for a refund and ordering 2 more (EVERYONE PRAY REAL HARD THEY COME SAFELY AND UNDAMAGED!)

I would order from Canada but they are still out of stock

Now if the Boutique would just have gotten them in stock the same time as Amazon, they would have sold a million copies man. They missed out.

Sigh! I have 2 useless books taunting me from my coffeetable ahhahahaha

My order from amazon.fr was wrapped in the same package. I was quite surprised to see my book survived after 14 days. Only the corners are a little ripped up. I don't quite mind. I doubt I could get a perfect condition copy of the book online anyway.

EEEK! now that is baaaad :shocking: Amazon.ca defo packs books better. they put it in a bigger box and stuff the rest of the package with bubble packs.

That's why i'm trying to order again.I ordered from amazon.fr and my book was damaged too.Maybe not this way,but the cover is cut and it made me crazy too even maybe i had little better luck than you.Now i know that i won't order it from amazon.fr anymore :nono:

This is how it looks mine(amazon.fr).Like i have said,my cover is cut a bit,i had to stick it and maybe i shouldn't be complaining in comparison to others,but i paid 50 euros for.. :angry2:

it's supposed to be released in stores in Canada today oct 15. so i hope my back ordered 4 books on amazon.ca are mailed out today or else i'll try that other dutch website which doesn't sound that bad actually...and it lists the book as a bestseller on its main page WOW!
