As for the USA, there are pics of: Boston, New York, Newark, Uniondale, Los Angeles, Phoenix, Chicago, New Orleans, Birmingham, Atlanta.

 

That's it! And the book ends with Québec.

People in Holland, Belgium & Luxemburg pay no shipping fees, people in Europe about €4 (still cheaper with the discount) and outside Europe €5 (also still cheaper). :)

Well i just ordered it from amazon.ca....it was about 40$cdn and i added the 1-3 day shipping. If I did my conversion well, and I hope I did, it came out to 55$usd including the shipping, so thats not bad at all. much better than the amazon.fr total. ::Fingers crossed:: that it's the same version though. :D

OMG uniondale :wub: that was one of my most memorable shows. I got to hug celine. I can't wait to get this!!

Hah really. Maybe he needs a volume 2 to fit all of those shows in. No Omaha? There were so many emotional photos from that day. It would have been a great ending. Wondering if more U.S. shows will be added to the U.S. version? Doubtful, but would be nice. Regardless I'm still excited for this haa

I think the english version will be exactly the same than the french one, except that all the text will be translated in english.

 

Not a 100% sure, but Gérard never mentioned that there would be different versions...

 

Oh and France is not in it a lot really. There are many European countries.

 

 

EDIT : like I just said in the french section, they organized the book like the tour should have occurred; what I mean is that in the list of USA countries, Omaha appears as if it had occurred in october of last year (not sure of the month?) just like it was supposed to before it was canceled. So the book ends with Quebec, like it was supposed to... which explains why there are no pics of Omaha. ;)

 

But I agree that it would have been great to see pics of it...

ahh ok. That makes sense. And you know, I guess it kind of makes sense theres not all the US shows, or more, because most countries are probably only shown once or twice. It just happens that US had a crap load of shows haha. So it keeps things fair, but I'm sure he decided most of it based on how he could give us the highest quality pictures. :) Thanks for all the info Fanny.

I can't wait for the book in English!! I don't mind if there aren't that many US photos as we hoped for although I would have loved to see them.. oh well.. Like autumskies said, he probably wanted to give us the best quality photos. I can't wait to get it!!

In other words, it is as if those shows never got postponed... I find this strange... I thought that he is all for reality... That was the reality... she got sick and had to postpone some shows... Not dissing the book or anything just saying... it's weird... Anyway can't wait to get my copy!

Ugh, lame. I wanted pics of everywhere, one of each concert would have been awesome! [plus more :P] but I am just thrilled to get a book of this! Can't wait for the English version, it cant come fast enough. :P

man I'm dissapointed that there won't be any pics from either Ohio show, I would have loved to see Columbus. I do look forward to seeing the other amazing photo's in the book. I'm not going to complain though atleast there is a book and Columbus is listed in the cities so that makes me happy :giggle: I'm just pleased the book will be released in the US :w00t: I can't wait for it to be in bookstores, I'm going the day it comes out lol. I'll buy the book in a few weeks but for the wait ... :wink:

To those who have already owned the book - if you were to estimate what is the percentage of photos in the book of Celine on and off the stage, what would you say?

50% : 50%??

 

I'm asking because obviously on beside of seeing Celine off stage, back stage and leading her private life during the tour, I would like to see her in magnificent stage outfits of all kinds.

From what I've seen (I've not looked at it for hours), there are more pics backstage than onstage.

 

For example, there are no pics of Eyes on Me with the cape... which I kind of find disappointing.

Yeah, I heard about that white cape being totally ruled out of the book. Too bad.

But I think/hope the entire book makes up for all the shortcomings :-)
