Has anyone who ordered from amason.ca gotten a shipping confermation?? The book was released today and I'm waiting on the confermation.

 

Just wanted to ask the same thing... Haven't heard from them yet. I hope they send it today...

 

 

me to! i hope it actually gets here by the time its suppose to! next week is my birthday and it would be a fantastic present...that i bought myself! haha!

me too!! Next week is my b-day. I hope I get the book before it! Its schedule to be send today.....

 

 

what day is yours? mine is thursday the 8th. hopefully it will be sent tonight! i ordered it september 27th so i was sure to researve a copy! ive been checking my email all day...im so exited to see this book!

Mine is 12nd! I hope I receive it till 9th! I paid for the faster shipping method! OMG I so excited too!

I ordered it from amazon.fr but I changed to amazon.ca in sept 29th because they'd send before. I hope they send today!

there's a very nice introduction by celine and photo comments by her and Gerard all along the pages :)

 

 

she comments on some photos?! AHHH i cant wait for my copy!

 

yes for example there are pictures of Celine in her private jet leaving for Mexico and she states "Great moment of solitude and worries. I'm leaving alone for Mexico; Nick tells me about the secutity dispositives. I try to calm down; breathing in the scent of my son he left on a small blankie he's sewn himself and left on my pillow one night as a gift... a small part of himself"

 

or another comment on a monaco picture "On stage I become someone else, inhabited by my songs I am in another world... I'm impressed to see that in some of the pictures here" :)

 

 

 

OMD enough with the Mexico bad comments already :o it's not so bad really...poor Celine they scared her too much I think.

Anyway thanks Tam for sharing it...i'm a little hurt by all these comments she did so...i really don't know if i want to buy the book right now.. :glare:

 

you have to buy it :)

Jimena, I know how you must feel regarding this....

 

But I honestly wouldn't take it to heart, it was probably Nick who was really overacting regarding the situation, and put it the wrong way to Celine, so kinda unprofessional in a way of him to do so.

As after all thats his job to look after her, and its not only him its like 5 other bodyguards who took care of her on the tour so she should not really worry as such.

Sure she is briefed on things, but obviously on this occassion I think her big bodyguards were more scared than her and it rubbed off.

 

The last thing Celine would want to do is offend/hurt anyone... its just not her nature as we all know.

 

So I hope that you will reconsider, and buy this amazing book. :)

yes! and you would miss all the funny pictures of celine playing around on a bicycle, or with a funny cap making chocolate with RC, or with a mop on the head acting rock and rolly! :) come on Jimena! You can't miss that! there's even one here she has a tiny mexican sombrero on the head and a tiny mexican flag in the hand! :) You'll love it! :yes: :yes: :yes:

I honestly don't see the problem :shrug: I'd be hesitant to visit a place that weren't that safe at the moment.. Heck, there was a kid murdered 500 meters away from my house during daytime a couple of years ago, that was enough to keep me inside for a few days.. why take it so personally? I honestly think it's a bit... well.. never mind.. Simply don't get the book then if that makes it better :) Edited by Frida

So they were really scared... I thought that Gerard was exaggerating...

 

This made me wonder about something else: What happened to that stalker dude they arrested earlier this year? Anyone knows?

I ordered from amazon.ca as well. Still no shipping confirmation....and I paid for super duper fast shipping so they'd best be getting on it like ninja fast.

 

Me too! I payd R60 extra to get it as soon as possible. So I'm going to be very mad if I don't get it SOON...

That shot could be from Man's World though, she didn't wear the white dress at the start of the tour. She only wore it for the opening night and then again when the tour hit Europe in May.

 

I got my book yesterday, it's really amazing! :wub:

I got an e-mail from Amazon.ca to tell me that they can only ship it after October 13. :cry:
