By some photo that was posted here,i think so...

I really ask myself, why they didn't release the book worldwide in both languages (french and english) at approx. the same time?! Didn't they realise that she made a WORLD TOUR and millions of fans are really WAITING for that book?

 

And as it seems some countries will never publish this book (Austria, I may guess for example).

 

haha I gave up on that one ages ago (I'm in a much better place now ) but there's not really a market I think, IF they were to sell it they would have to translate it into German and if they do that then it'll have to be in many other languages too and that would simply not be an investment. I'm not sure anyway that the book would sell in English...

 

Any questions about the pictures, just ask

 

 

OMD! never hoped that the book would be translated to German!!! Although Germany is a big market and she's got alot of fans there too - but they could publish the book in English there for ex. Why shouldn't the book sell in English? ALL the fans of the countries in which languages the book won't be translated will buy it. French is "just" for the Canadian and France (surely a big and important market) and a small part of french-speaking countries ...

 

But it is really kind of you: Would be great, if you let me know what can be seen on the pic's of Austria. As Fanny already kindly revealed there are only backstage-pics. But what can be seen on them? Something with a policeman? A basket mit Schnaps? A rose? The gold disc?

well I moved to London

 

as for the pic, there is only one from Vienna and that shows Céline backstage playing the clown and making a funny face surrounded by dancers, technicians and Mego - that's about it

 

as for Dublin: there's the pic we all know, Céline facing the crowd in Croke Park, then there's a rehearsal pic showing her play the guitar with a mop and then céline with the back to the audience at the end of the concert, it's already dark

 

PS as for the translation thing, I think that the fans are not enough and given that the books costs 40€, you'd have to be either rich or hard core fan - honestly, I wouldn't spend that amount of money on any other artist, even if I liked her/him only half as much as Céline

Its just that on May 8th, outside her hotel before the show, they kept the crowd waiting a few hrs ( as people who travelled with the entourage and her drivers kept saying out loud to each other, half an hour, 40 mins, an hour until we gotta go, but it dragged out alot longer than that) so numbers would really grow, which they did, then the camera crew and gerrard came out and spent alot of time filming and taking pics, then Celine came out waved once and got straight into her car and was off, which I found was kinda rude to fans, after all that waiting around.... When we see her in other places like paris spending ages ontop of her car saying hello, signing autographs, posing for pics etc, but hey ho....

 

But surely there is one pic of this? lol

Well, certainly London's definitively a better place to find good stuff about Celine or any other major artist. Good luck there!

 

Thanks for your quick answer. Well, a bit disappointing, that it's only one pic of Vienna. As all other fans who know about the book I wanted a least 20 pic's of the show I attended. But seriously ... As other cities don't have at least one single pix it's generous that they put at least one in there.

 

Yeah - Vroni, you could be right regarding the translation thing. But the industry around Celine earned so much money. They could "afford" publishing a book "just" for the fans. It certainly won't reach the bestsellers-book-lists. But it's also a book ABOUT fans seeing their star on a world tour. And what is it for, if this book can't be read or bought by those who love and adore her (and made her rich, b.t.w.!) I really love her. But often I have my doubts about the people around her who make decisions like that.

I was backstage on the 6th and back at the hotel on the 8th at night when she was in the car signing things.... I'm just really excited that London pics have def made it into the book

They sent my copy immediately and they they sent it by german post DHL which is crazy.I should pay declaration almost the same price as book here even is not legal for my country.What a catastrophe!

 

I don't know if anybody happens the same when ordering on amazon.fr?Im in Europe,but what about USA when ordering from this site?

You mean the customers tax? They can't control that. It only depends the customers of your country. I ordered it from China. Hope I can get my copy soon.

Yes actually.They r crap here according to that.From some people they take a lot of money and from some not at all.I hope I'll be lucky this time.At the moment I'm following my package,it is in parcel center for now.Everything goes well,but when it comes inside of my country,we will see then what happens.I hope I'll really have luck .Thanx.I hope urs come soon too .

OMG! For those who have the book. In pics from Poland there is a pics with big sing, that we put into air twice!

This 32 big cards were made by me and my sister in law! And I drove to Krakow with them! I hold them, protect them, it was an treasure, not to be damage!

 

It was my dream to do something like this. On our Polish forum we decided what we want to say to Celine. 32 sings because that how many people were sitting in that row. And half of that row was occupied by members of our Polish forum!

And of course no one wanted to hold an space, so spaces were big red hearts!

yes for example there are pictures of Celine in her private jet leaving for Mexico and she states "Great moment of solitude and worries. I'm leaving alone for Mexico; Nick tells me about the secutity dispositives. I try to calm down; breathing in the scent of my son he left on a small blankie he's sewn himself and left on my pillow one night as a gift... a small part of himself"

 

or another comment on a monaco picture "On stage I become someone else, inhabited by my songs I am in another world... I'm impressed to see that in some of the pictures here"

OMD enough with the Mexico bad comments already it's not so bad really...poor Celine they scared her too much I think.

Anyway thanks Tam for sharing it...i'm a little hurt by all these comments she did so...i really don't know if i want to buy the book right now..
