The previews that you had from La Martinière were obviously pictures that Gérard allowed to show & to publish on the internet.

 

But it is prohibited (and we can easily understand why) to post any scans of pictures in the book. You can still do it but you should know that you (or should I say, the forum) could be sued for this, as these pictures are in a book that you are supposed to buy to see...

Exactly. We reserve the right to delete any post contain scan of the book.

 

BTW, can anyone confirm the edition will sell in Canada is exactly the same as in France. I'm very unsure about purchase it on amazon.fr or amazon.ca.

Why so? I purchased my D'elles deluxe thingy from amazon.fr and it worked perfecetly fine (and I obviously don't live in France :P )

Cause it's cheaper on amazon.ca. And shipping cost is cheaper on amazon.ca too. You know Euro dollar is very expensive compare with CDN.

Is the Canadian release (amazon.ca) still Oct 1 or Oct 14th? I've heard both :unsure:

 

And yes! No pictures scanned! I want to be able to open it and be blown away when I see it!! :D

Can't wait to get my hands on the book.

 

But any news on the book in english? I know Gérard Schachmes said it would be released in english but I want it noooooow :whistling:

on amazon.fr the release date is today. i ordered it a few days ago and im hoping it will get here by the weekend!! with 1 - 5 day shipping and handeling it was about $70 usd. yicks...but totally worth it!

I understand too that pics of the book aren't not allowed to be released. But with the release of the book aren't there any NEW photos out of it, which are allowed to be released for commercial use?

Didn't anyone get their book today? :confused: I was hoping for a reaction. I'll probably hold out for the US version... I want to be able to read it without getting a headache translating & I won't have to pay for international shipping... I need to save as much as I can.

 

I know scans aren't allowed... but if anyone can tell me if Cleveland is included in the book, I'm curious to know. :)

I have not been emailed yet either about the shipping. I think my order states the shipping as tomorrow (September 25th). Which means i will hopefully get the email tomorrow!!! I HOPE!!!

I'm a little sad that not all the cities are included. I know there were a lot of shows, and that would be a huge book, but its disappointing to the fans that attended those shows I think. :confused: I know Montreal will be in there though...and I can't wait to see those photos. Fanny, do you know if there were photos from all the New York/ New Jersey shows? (Newark, Atlantic City, New York City, and Long Island) I have a feeling they probably just compressed it down to the New York City show.

I can't list all the shows that are missing, it just takes too long... however I can tell you that there is one page of Vienna! No pics of the show though... only backstage.
