dj4celine Posted November 5, 2009 at 03:12 PM Posted November 5, 2009 at 03:12 PM (edited) Frida, here almost anyone who has crossed 30 has a messenger bag be it leather, polyester, nylon or what not material. I see them and I'm like, OK someday I'm gonna cross that threshold but I hope not very soon That's why when Sebbie brought his Chanel messenger bag, I made it clear to that he is so not going to be wearing that when he goes out with me Edited November 5, 2009 at 03:14 PM by dj4celine Quote

Ccile Posted November 5, 2009 at 04:07 PM Posted November 5, 2009 at 04:07 PM I like the first pairs! But it's pobably go for something more simple and clean since the dress has so much beading etc.. MTJ Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:02 PM Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:02 PM Those shoes are to die for. Lindsey, I think you should copy Frida and get those for your dress!!! Dhruv, I agree with you about messenger bags. I don't necessarily think they make one look old, I just don't find them tasteful. I'm less modern and more traditional, I guess. Give me a briefcase or a doctor's bag and I'm happy. Or a man purse. Dior Homme or Prada... Quote
dj4celine Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:09 PM Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:09 PM (edited) Give me a simple backpack any day OMD! On the Saks site, the Armani collection is to die for And the prices aren't that much either... OMD OMD OMD OMD OMD... I know what I'm gonna get myself for Christmas :w00t:' Frida, the shoes I was talking to you about is very similar to this The only difference is that mine one has a zipper instead of the straps. Frida Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:16 PM Author Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:16 PM (edited) I love both briefcases and messengers.. Was thinking of getting a Naviglio or a Bastille for school (both messengers), but since I can't lock it in or monitor it all day long I got a cheap briefcase.. Dhruv: Yeah I figured they looked something like that, have you had time to do anything about them yet? Frida Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:24 PM Author Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:24 PM Is it dry or is it the humidity that has caused problems there as well? dj4celine Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:34 PM Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:34 PM I think it's the humidity. Actually, its part my fault as well. I wore it once when it was raining and it got wet and I didn't dry it properly (I think) and just stored them back in the shoe bag I cannot lose those shoes as it cost me hell lot Quote
Frida Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:38 PM Author Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:38 PM Hand them over to a pro, I'm positive they can be saved Quote http://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tcc2copy3_zps08f18352.pnghttp://i129.photobucket.com/albums/p234/celinedion_56/tccgallery-1.png
dj4celine Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:48 PM Posted November 5, 2009 at 06:48 PM I will go to the Gucci store and ask if they can direct me to somewhere where it can be done. The good thing is that the store is quite nearby to where I live but the bad thing is that if I go there, I am so gonna get something which I will regret later Quote

Frida Posted November 7, 2009 at 03:07 PM Author Posted November 7, 2009 at 03:07 PM (This is going to be a boring "reveal") I've been searching high and low for a pair of simple (no buckles and crap), below the knee-, 2-2½" straight heel boots but found nothing (except for these $1450 Louboutins. Frida Posted November 8, 2009 at 08:12 PM Author Posted November 8, 2009 at 08:12 PM Well, 6 years isn't much when you invest in good pieces and take care of them (one of my winter wool coats is on its 4th year, still looks like new.. got it on sale for $250 instead of $700. Sort o looks like this) I've started looking at Loubs again, and I promised to sell them all and NEVER buy anything before trying it on first!! Grrrrr Frida, grrrrrrr...
