That's the charm of it, Bellamy. I'd love to look 'fierce' :mdr:

But what about your BV bag?

Posted
I wanted a BV messenger bag for quite a long time. Hope I can afford it soon.

Frida, here almost anyone who has crossed 30 has a messenger bag be it leather, polyester, nylon or what not material. I see them and I'm like, OK someday I'm gonna cross that threshold but I hope not very soon :mdr:

That's why when Sebbie brought his Chanel messenger bag, I made it clear to that he is so not going to be wearing that when he goes out with me :lmao:

^ Really? I don't think I've seen a single person over 30 wearing one

Yeah, messenger bags are for youth, while the big luggage bags are for older business men.

I won't mind a Chanel messenger bag. In which color? Hope it's not milky white or pink.

I'm a huge 2.55-fan, but other than that I'm not that into Chanel. I rarely see any RTW that I like, or any seasonal bags.. Apart of the regular 2.55, the reissue and the reissue tote I've been blessed by the fashion-Gods LOL

And they just added prices in SEK today :D

Me too! But I'm thinking of getting the shoes before finding someone to marry

Those shoes are to die for. Lindsey, I think you should copy Frida and get those for your dress!!!

Dhruv, I agree with you about messenger bags. I don't necessarily think they make one look old, I just don't find them tasteful.

I'm less modern and more traditional, I guess. Give me a briefcase or a doctor's bag and I'm happy.

Or a man purse. Dior Homme or Prada...

Give me a simple backpack any day

OMD! On the Saks site, the Armani collection is to die for  And the prices aren't that much either... OMD OMD OMD OMD OMD... I know what I'm gonna get myself for Christmas :w00t: :w00t:'

Frida, the shoes I was talking to you about is very similar to this The only difference is that mine one has a zipper instead of the straps.

I love both briefcases and messengers.. Was thinking of getting a Naviglio or a Bastille for school (both messengers), but since I can't lock it in or monitor it all day long I got a cheap briefcase..

Dhruv: Yeah I figured they looked something like that, have you had time to do anything about them yet?

The canvas is all cleaned up but I'm not sure about the leather  I'll have to ask for a professional help on that one, I guess :ermm: Edited by dj4celine

I think it's the humidity. Actually, its part my fault as well. I wore it once when it was raining and it got wet and I didn't dry it properly (I think) and just stored them back in the shoe bag

I cannot lose those shoes as it cost me hell lot

I will go to the Gucci store and ask if they can direct me to somewhere where it can be done. The good thing is that the store is quite nearby to where I live but the bad thing is that if I go there, I am so gonna get something which I will regret later :mdr:

I've seen the students from the art section carry those huge bags but I doubt they put anything inside it cos I see their sketch books in their hands cos they are just too damn big to put it in :mdr:

I was checking out some shoes from Lacoste today and I just fell in love with this.

The funny thing is its cheaper here at the store than the one I saw at saks.com even with the 40% off.

(This is going to be a boring "reveal")

I've been searching high and low for a pair of simple (no buckles and crap), below the knee-, 2-2½" straight heel boots but found nothing (except for these $1450 Louboutins. Uh, yeah, not gonna happen right now)

Well I finally found a pair, on sale!! :D ($220 -> $120)

I did not see these when I was looking! I like them, too and they are less expensive which is good for my budget ha. Gonna have to grab me a pair! Thanks guys!

And excellllent find on the boots Frida! I need some new boots myself. The ones I'm wearing are gasp, 6 yrs old. But not in a good way haha.

Posted

Well, 6 years isn't much when you invest in good pieces and take care of them :D (one of my winter wool coats is on its 4th year, still looks like new.. got it on sale for $250 instead of $700. Sort o looks like this)

I've started looking at Loubs again, and I promised to sell them all and NEVER buy anything before trying it on first!! Grrrrr Frida, grrrrrrr...
