And LV SA's in Nashville are not so nice either I have only been in the store about 5 times and after the first time I have to take someone withme for moral support rofl. Pretty Woman situation. Ugh. But I did go in this past weekend and cuddle the little Trevi

 

ooooo and Frida I may have found my dress! It was one of those angels singing moments when I put it on. I can't find a picture of it online just yet, which is very frustrating for me because I want to see it! It is Stephen Yearick, lots of beading, sweetheart neckline, mermaid style, train, sighhhh with a cathedral veil. When i find it I will post some pics! Apparently it is from the new collection and he hasn't updated his site yet. I do look fo rit everyday though

well (north/west) european life style is different than other cultures! Here the stores close 'at a normal time' like 18.00, so you can have dinner on time and have a nice evening... and this was around 22.30, so the store would have been closed anyway!

Did a quick search on his website and the dresses on brides.com, there are some really really gorgeous gowns by him, can't wait to see "the (potential) one"!

The great thing about his designs, which I didn't know until I was twirling in it lol, is he custom makes each dress for the girl so they take a ton of measurements and then make it for her proportions instead of ordering a specific size and having it cut down. This way you don't lose any of the detail work, I think. And he does it free of charge/ built in to the cost of the dress

 

It's an antique white color over a champagne slip so it looks like a sheeny champagne. Can't wait to show you all! eeeek!

ahhhh the shoes. Alas, I don't know yet! I'm taking some silver Nine West slingbacks with a 4" heel height to get measured for my fitting in, I figure if I get shoes with the same height I should be good. I'll prob be taking those off for dancing though, I'm sure!

 

So...I'm thinking of planning a Vegas Caesar's Palace wedding in the Venus Gardens.... with Céline everywhere in all the music, invitations, programs, reception, cake! I haven't figured out all the details yet, but my creativity is flowing! And if she's there rehearsing for a new show....some little diva might get an invite...and well a girl can dream. ROFL. I'd be happy if she just knew about it!

 

But now how to get about 50 people to vegas....

 

OH and the bodice of my gown looks a lot like Céline's wedding gown!

The picture on the left is of Celine at the WMA's in '08 and the right is a picture of me before a school dance (homecoming) this past saturday.
