 True, I have already thrown some stuff that got faded colors. The fabric is also terrible.

$455 is a very fair price for a good quality leather jacket.

An yeah, the catalogue is for the A/W shoe collection, a nice little letter and a price list.. is it bad that I've spent enough for them to think it's worth sending me this? LOL I feel bad.. sorta.. but not really LOL :innocent:

I guess yes. :P And did you buy any LV shoes yet? Maybe they just wanna sell more products to you. :hmm:

Haha, there's no need for the 'maybe', that's the ONLY reason they sent it  but it's still fun that they sent it out unasked for, instead of me having to collect it in the store if I wanted one..

And nope, no shoes yet, but I've been thinking of getting a pair of car loafers when that day comes  (driving with heels = not such a good idea)

The jacket is actually part of their luxury line -- which they only carry in the Flagship store in NY and a few of their stores (in fancy malls with Neiman Marcus and Hermes) across the country. They have unprecedented quality anyway, but the fact that this is part of the luxury collection makes it even better!

But it is a want item. I have a tan leather bomber jacket that I wear all the time. I have a black motorcycle jacket like it, but never wear it because the leather is very course and squeaky. This one is like butter (I tried it on at a store two hours away).

What's more, I have a $100 gift card for BR that I probably won't buy anything else with, and my boyfriend has a 30% off coupon.

So yeah... I guess I should do it :D

This is what I would do: sell the black motorcycle jacket on eBay and put whatever you get (even if it's only a little) towards the BR one. Keep the tan one as well since they're so different in colour!

I rewarded myself today with these "good job on your first week back" Efva Attling earrings

(I've mentioned my love for her jewelry a LOT). Silver, $110

I bought a "Longchamp Le Pliage" bag today, it's crazy actually when you think about it, how much they charge for that little bag... anyway I've wanted one of these for quite some time and I've been working a lot lately, so no reason to feel guilty haha

Fun! Would you mind posting pics? :D I've never bought a Longchamp, but thought of getting one for gym. Could you please update us in a couple of months how the quality is holding up?

EDIT: ooooh, you can custom make your own colour combination on the website, I want I want I want :w00t:

I said it because your photos look classy, with a good balance of shadows and light, very harmonious. :D

Love the bag and love those earrings :)

I just adore looking into all of your closets ;) If I can't shop, I want to talk about shopping, look at other people's purchases, or browse online.... I may have a shopping problem. Okay I do. :lol2:

I decided to do a total wardrobe makeover and just took half of my wardrobe to the flea market. Can't wait to make some money and go shopping. ;)

YAY! Good luck with the sales! :D

My Tory Burch Reva's are waaaay too big and I want to get smaller ones (shoes that are actually too big for me? weird) but I have no idea what size these are and I can't find a size chart anywhere, grrrr)

Thanks! ^_^

I have weird sized feet and have a really hard time findng shoes that fit. :(

Same here.. I've been blessed with large feet (but I do like my height, that's a price I have to pay I guess) and bunions on top of that.. the diabetes make me more sensitive as well.. Being a heel-lover is the ultimate punishment

Stopped by H&M today to get a tanktop and spotted this swagger/cardigan:

Not sure if I should keep it or not.. I LOVE the shape and colour, but the material is a bit.. eeeh.. It'll look okay a season or two, but then it'll have to go, and it won't be a big loss ($43) I do need cardigans for this fall

Anyway, grabbed an umbrella on my way out (bought in London by my parents 20 years ago), it made me think of Celine  never noticed the print before

Speaking of Balmain, a LOT can happen to a brand's design esthetics in a decade, look at this:

omg i luuuurve that military style jacket! *sigh* wish i can find those shtuff here :(

There's a shop in Stockholm that have Balmain, the jackets are to die for, unfortunately I can't spend $10,000 on a leather jacket :P (I think the one on the picture is about $8000) (no I haven't added too many zeros LOL) They really are luxury masterpieces
Posted
you're serious? O_o that black and silver one is $8000?! *faints*

I don't know the exact price, but I don't think it's less than that. The "simple", basic cotton-blend blazers are $3500, and based on the detailing on this one I'd guess it's about right.. It also looks like suede, and ifit is I don't think 7-8K is enough

This is the one I looked at

http://cache.net-a-porter.com/images/products/46817/46817_in_l.jpg

The NAP price is $13,395, so it's approx. $4000 less here :P
