the shoes you bought are really cute

I have a bunch of shoes that were probably inspired by designers

........probably because I'm going into my first year of college and as much as I would like to get a shelf full of louboutins and choos I have to buy a shelf of books instead....so the imitations are in my price range and can still look just as cute. or if I see a really cute pair that I can't afford then sometimes I'll stumble across or even look for an imitation.. I'll save the debt of labels for when I'm a little bit older (can't wait lol)

 

if you like the shoes and I assume you do because you bought them.. be proud and strut your stuff in them.. don't let the fact that they don't have a big name label in them get you down... I don't... wear them loud and wear them proud.

Words of gold really!.. Well, it's not only about shoes but about everything in general. Unless you wear everything loud and proud you may buy ANY labels and you'll still be sorta the 'misfit'. But when you realise how cool you are... And all of us are just TOTALLY cool As for me I have some labels in my closet - T-shirts, jackets and jeans basically - but also I have PLENTY of clothes by totally NOONE and I feel OK about it 'cause it still looks amazing on me

I've been searching high and low for a good briefcase for school during the past few months, ranging from $180-500, haven't found one. Then I went into this office supply store on a whim yesterday and there it was, the perfect one in lovely leather! The best part = it was only $225!!! (it's got a 5 year guarantee too!)

Going to a college of sorts (to catch up on what I've missed due to illness)

 

It's quite a small school, 400 students maybe, located up on a hill with the best view over the city I think it will be quite good for the soul

I studied fashion/design before I got ill, but this is just going to be the basic, "elementary" subjects. Basically what I need to apply to 'The Swedish School of Textile - University of Borås'. (There are more famous fashion/design schools in Stockholm, but as things are now this is where I want to go, and have for the past 5 years or so)

Thanks to you and your fashion's topic I'm better now to find what designer it can be when I see a pic! moreover, in the french Vogue of this month, they make a photoshoot with one pic per designer which shows their own style so it's good to become familiar with designer and know who designs what!

Designing and pattern construction was part of the education, but I rarely sew myself (I grew up with a seamstress as a mother, I needed a break from home sewn clothes after a while).

One of the courses I'm planning on taking is 'Business Administration with Specialization in Textile Retailing', I don't think I will take the designer route
