The official radio edit of ISSW is absolutely not rare! It was included on many radio promo compilation! It's 3:45 long!

The 1st chorus and the 2nd verse have been omitted! Nothing special...

 

What other releases was it issued on? As far as I knew, it was only issued on the promo CD. But I could be wrong.

The radio edit was included in:

- Promo only Canada chart radio: issue 92

- Promo only Canada mainstream radio May 2005

- Top hits USA RA89

- Vanguard 05-13

Wow, that final price is very high. I'm somewhat skeptical it'll be worth that much in the long run, so maybe it's a blessing in disguise?

I hope I'm not coming across as smug or indifferent... I certainly understand how disappointing it is to lose an item I've set my heart on. But if I were in your current situation, I'd remind myself that at the very least, I've got another $200 US in my pocket.

Andrew, that is a high price, but it has become quite hard to fnd, especially with the white teaser card. I think it will generally continue to sell for €100+.

But that certainly wasn't what you'd call a bargain.

 

Tim you did your best, just be glad you still have all that money burning a whole in your pocket. You haven't lost anything.

 

Don't mean to gloat, well I do , but I got mine with outer card and in mint condition for €19 in a b.i.n. when it first came out. Thank God!

I am so jealous of you John - €19!!! This has taught me a lesson that I should have started collecting from birth, then I would have got everything at a good price when it came out!

I know I haven't been paying too much attention to this item (because I'm not particularly interested in it), but it's not really THAT rare is it? I could have sworn I saw another copy (with outer sleeve) relatively recently on eBay, as in the last two or three months.

 

So at least from my perspective, while it might be a few months before another copy appears, a year seems a somewhat pessimistic estimate to me.

I only said "probably". I was being overly pessimistic, I was upset...

That auction still has over a week to run, so it'll almost certainly sell for a higher price.

 

In these kinds of scenarios, I try to just be glad that I have the item. When you make a purchase, you never know what will happen in the future. You might see the item the next day for 10% of the price you paid, or it might not appear for months afterwards. There's no point in second guessing previous decisions.

 

This has been on sale for months... Who would buy it at this price ?

 

At the risk of stating the obvious, given that no-one has bought it at that price and it's been on sale for months, very few people.

 

But I'm sometimes surprised at what people will pay for certain items.
