Ok so I was reading the collector's list! sorry to p%#$ you off with my radio edits LOL but is it true that there are a promo cd of:

WDMHBN radio edit

FIY radio edit

MHWGO radio edit

ILTIHY radio edit

IDAN unmastered version

There is no backcover on the Unison Remix single from Japan and there is a title-sticker on the left side, right ?

Yes there is no backcover.

The release would have initially come with an obi strip but they also included 2 stickers which the owner could put down each side of the case, 1 is written in English, the other in Japanese. Both have the cat no. on them (ESCA 5458)

WDMHBN 7" UK 6563267 is a radio edit. It runs 4'10". I have the single, but have no record player so have yet to hear it.

The 4.24 radio edit on SAMP 1010, is basically a fade in to the song at the start, not a proper radio edit

I don't have the Argentinian radio edit which I think is meant to be about 3'10"

I am not sure about the others, don't have them myself.

Yes there are two stickers, the owner put the English one on the left and the Japanese on the right. And there is the Japanese carton thing as well.

 

What does OBI means ? I always see that on Ebay but never know what it means.

 

I'm a little but disappointed there is no backcover :-( And my jewel case is slightly broken :-((

An obi strip is a piece of paper card that wraps around the left side of the CD. They give the information such as the title and artist, cat no. and other indormation. This is a simple and efficient way of getting Japanese text on an English release.

 

OBI strips are quite desirable.

I don't know Timster if any other OBI Celine releases, came with these stickers. I didn't have them with my TCOML, but as I say they were in my Unison. Quite clever really those Japanese.

Oh yeah I forgot about the OBI for TCOML! I was looking at it, thinking it needed a sticker or something but I forgot I keep all the OBIs safe under my bed! lol So it's interesting how the Unison single got stickers to combat this problem when other releases didn't. Maybe they thought they were going to far and stopped. Another similar release that comes to mind is AWTBI Himiko Fantasia, that doesn't have a spine unlike other singles due to the case it's in...

 

And yes, the Japanese are very clever. I love how they go the extra mile and make their releases so beautiful. Little things like having fabric sleeves for the discs in a digipack make all the difference...

I know it looks fake, but I haven't heard of anyone actually getting a fake copy yet, you should be OK

Oh and I don't believe you can buy Miracle in the shops, maybe if you put a request in. Most of the copies on Ebay appear top come from the USA, which is a killer for p&p

Well... I don't know! the only "radio edits CDs" from LTAL area I found/bought on eBay were The reason and Tell him, I can't find the 2 MHWGO promo (Australian and Mexican) with edits I can't find the 7" single of WDMHBN either! I'm sure I couldn't afford them anyway

It's actually Argentinean, not Mexican. I have this CD (as well as the Australian promo and the UK "Where Does My Heart Beat Now" 7" with radio edit). The Argentinean MHWGO edit has a playing time of 3:12.

This is the item I like the less... It looks so fake.... But for 6,50 EUR it's ok !!!

 

I actually don't like acetate looking CD's... That's why I did not even bid for the "In some small way" which was onsale a few weeks ago.

 

I bought "Ma nouvelle France" coz it was cheap, and like this, "I'm alive Joshua 2009" will have a friend in my collection of the worst looking items

 

But I like my 45 T even those without PS coz these are the very first singles so it's emotional.

As for MJ's I'm Alive Remix: Well I know the disc isn't very exciting, but I wouldn't say that I'm Alive is deserved of being called one of the worst looking. There are many more who have much cheaper looking sleeves. I think considering the kind of item it was, we were very lucky to get that much design at all.

At least there was some effort made.

I receive my 3" Any other way from Europe sealed with the red plastic things

 

I m still waiting for my Japanese 3" Any other way since May 30th though

 

The Any other way items are among my prefered ones I don't know why, they have something "fascinating".

 

I guess the most desirable and sought after Any other way item is the Maxi Single isn't it ?
