Glad they finally came Olivier, but boo! to you, your poor sister.

Unless I got really good prices I have no interest in collecting these based on coming from Canada or Europe or the USA. I've already got more than enough copies as it is between Blu Ray, DVD, Walmart, QVC, french concert, english concert, deuxe edition etc.

 

But the Japanese edition in DVD case may make an appearence, oh dear...

 

i cant ever imagine wanting more than 1 copy of each version of this....theyre all the same. theres no point having one with an fbi logo on and one that doesnt. I bought the delux version the week after the normal dvd and already i dont want the normal one anymore. i know it wont be worth anything to me or anyone else in years to come also.....collect the collectibles kids

 

The Blu Ray TTEOT was enough for me to be fair. The only reason I've got the normal DVD is cos it came with the bonus QVC disc, and the Wallmart one I got cos Edwin was sending me the QVC ones anyway and it seemed best to get that at the same time, but these are all different packaging/formats at least. I don't care if I'm missing a logo from the back of the artwork. But good luck to you if you do, just don't be paying top whack for 'em.

Hi there, Just to let you know, one of these sold 2 weeks ago on ebay for over $300, so I think I'm pricing it reasonably considering the other Brazil Promo's like Make You Happy and Immortality sell for well above that... I think £100 start is VERY reasonable considering the price of other items. Other collectors will know exactly what I mean here...

Yes, I saw how the other copie ended at eBay the past week But that some people are willing to pay crazies amounts of money for something that in the end is a piece of plastic does not mean that everyone agrees that attitude. Its just beyond my principles

Mine is a CD-rom only. It does not play on a audio CD-laser player. Yours too ?

 

The tracklisting from 1 to 6 written on both backcover and CD does NOT actually plays in that order when put in my computer.

you should find it encouraging...that all the stuff you love so much is actually an investment and loved by others to the point that they will pay high prices for it. the day i see a cd like that going for £20.00 - my heart will sink coz that would mean celine was well and truely irrelevant and worthless to most people.

I can't see that happening for many years to come, her popularity should outlive all of us and she should still be popular 100 years from now. Musical tastes come and go, but a good singer will always be a good singer and a great singer will always be a great singer. She has reached a level now in the business where she is considered the natural successor to Streisand, who herself was the successor to Garland. That's not just by Celine fans, I've heard people mention that many times in the past. Both of these are still hugely popular and they're rare items would still be highly collectable. As long as there are fans of Celines music, these items will always have a value. And as long as the few die-hards like us are still around, these items will continue to sell well.

 

By the way Tom, you're becoming a real late night poster I've noticed. You need to start drinking Horlicks at bed time, talk soon.

Alot of collectors items are investments, they don't usually go down in value... collectors items usually go up in value the more scarce they get...

I know the value of her items, I've been collecting her for 7 years now... but I've got many of her most rare items at prices that you would think I'm pulling your leg (for example, her Aun Existe Amor promo for $30 in the same lot with En Attendant Ses Pas, J'attendais, TFTEISYF and 6 more singles, or the Dion Chante Plamondon LP for 20 euros, the german 7" single for 15€ or her wooden FIY box for 10 and 30 euros)

 

I love this world of collecting as much as all of you but I also know to distinguish when I have to pay such amounts beyond $100 for a CD or for another better/useful purpose instead You have to keep your head down to Earth when you are bidding at eBay, especially in the last seconds of the purchase

I paid over $300 for Immortality 6trk, a cd with 6 songs on it... but I never complained, I thought it was worth it and I resold at the same price so no harm done... I've also picked up some bargains along the way, mainly off people who had CD's but never knew their value both on ebay and off ebay... from memory Aun Exist Amor I bought for like £30 and was able to sell it for over £80... so it's just knowing where to look and keeping an eye out. I KNOW the value of these items, this CD sold just last week for over $300 so I KNOW there's interest in it, which is why I'm not going to just sell it off for $100... you know?
