I asked in another topics but noone could/have helped me so maybe I'll have more luck here:

Are there physical singles (commercial or promo) existing for "Voler" with Michel Sardou, "Y'a pas des mots" with Marc Dupré and for Marc Dupré's "Entre deux mondes" song written be Céline??

If yes, I'd like to get more details like catalouge numbers and/or cover pictures etc.

I have these 3 songs but I'd love to get the singles if there are any available.

I don't know or think so... I think the only possible promo might be from Voler, but I bet it'll be a white cd-r promo... :dots: I don't want to collect those anymore actually... they have no real value to me :confused:

And as far as I know Y'A Pas Des Mots isn't officially released as a single yet...

Personally, I also hate those white CD-R thingies, I'm not collecting those either, grrrr! :evil:

If these songs would only be released as white CD-Rs than I will be happy enough with the full albums that I have (Sardou's album and Dupré's album), they at least have nice artworks, lol! Sardou's is even a limited edition that looks like a book - nice! Although I like the duet with Dupré more than the one with Sardou!

I have 2 new questions to you:

1. "Listen To Me" duet with Warren Wiebe - I have this song on "Celebration" promo cassette.

Is there any official CD release with this song?? So far I couldn't find anything - neither a Warren Wiebe album nor the "Listen To Me" movie soundtrack or such...

2. "Brahms' Lullaby" - this song appears on 3 albums as far as I know: "For Our Children Too!" (1996), "These Are Special Times" (1998) and "Miracle" (2004).

My question: is it one and the same recording that have ben used on all these albums or are these different recordings? (I haven't listened to that song for a long time myself so can't tell...)

That would be funny if they indeed used a 1996 recording for a 2004 album but oh yeah, "Miracle" is kinda compilation album anyway...

Hope some of you can help me! :flowers:

Listen To Me is only available on Eaton's promo cassette, not CD release. I have this promo cassette too, still sealed and I love it.

Celine hums during the intro to the version on For Our Children Too. This was removed when the recording was used for These Are Special Times.

Warren Wiebe sadly never actually released an album in his own right. I have a couple of demo albums that he made and he had a lovely voice. His physical appearance was probably a contributing factor to this sadly. Then he passed away early. He also did a very good job on the demo of Voices That Care.

Also, I haven't got it, but the version of Listen To Me used on the end credits of the actual movie may contain an instrumental bridge. Can anyone confirm/deny that?

So except for the humming, it's the very same recording of "Brams' Lullaby"?

And then same question about "The Christmas Song" - it appears on different albums but it's one and the same recording each time, right? Or are there any differences?

I hardly know a thing about Warren Wiebe, didn't know he passed away... His voice is really nice, it mixed very well with Céline's! :wub: Strange that this duet was never released on any CD... Don't know how famous Warren was but if there would be a "best of" album of his, this duet should deffinitely be incuded on it!

Yeah, Matej, I have that very Eaton's cassette and I love it too, the pic on the cover is so lovely! :wub: My cassette is not sealed but it's mint condition. I don't remember whether it was sealed initially or not, maybe it was but it's a long time since I've added it to my collection...

Oh Matej, lol, me too! For example the some editiosn of "TC" album, 1CD "My Love" compilation, several singles (for example the Japanese "Think Twice" single) and so many others!... ;D

I guess I unsealed that cassette (if it was sealed at all) because I wanted to hear the "Listen To Me" song which I haven't had on any other release (and still don't have), I only had that song copied from someone's copy and that someone got it copied too etc. so the song on that home-recorded cassette was very poor quality...

For some years I got myself a habit of not unsealing items if I already have the songs on other, not sealed CDs or if I can find the same songs in good quality online.

I unseal all of my items. Otherwise I keep wondering what the item is like inside, and I get all stressed out! :giggle:

But I kept the CD and VHS in my ACDS boxset sealed :thumbsup:

Exactely.

And as long as I can understand that for some othese releases (esp. for the combined package of more different CD albums or DVDs sold together or special/limited editions). I really don't get deleting other releases...

Like why deleting "The Collector's Series Vol. 1" that includes tracks unavailable elsewhere anymore??!
